Cessna Stationair Cargo parked up at Dinard after a busy day hauling small freight around Northern France and the Channel Islands. I used the first day of my mid-term holiday to fly this beauty from Dinard-Amour-Dinard-Guernsey-Alderney-Dinard-Cherbourg-Dinard. A fantastic day's flying :-) Anyway, thank you Rob for your excellent shots and great review which inspired me to reinstall and get better acquainted with the C206 :dance2: PS: Skylines Aviation (which flies these C206s on a contract basis) is now hiring for all you GA lovers out there :-) Cheers, Dave

From BBC News: "Four bodies have been recovered from the wreckage of a light aircraft that crashed on a mountainside in the Irish Republic, gardai have confirmed. The plane is embedded in the ground and rescuers had to use cutting equipment to gain access. The Piper PA-28 single engine plane took off from Gloucester on Saturday morning but failed to land at Kilrush in County Kildare at noon. Airport officials said four people were on board the aircraft. Gardai, the Irish Coastguard and Irish Aviation Authority, said the wreckage had been found near Corriebrock mountain." More here. Cond

Joe, Fantastic shots! Love the Bryanair livery :mrhappy: Some really atmospheric and intense-looking pics there, I really enjoyed those. I wish the Otter was available for FS9! And Dai, I'll be doing that exam paper in a few months! Dave -

Great shots, and I love the evening light! Well done and thanks for contributing :-) -
Flybe do fly to Dublin Kieran. Don't think it could be EIDW though because the taxiway would be on the other side of runway 10.

Beautiful shots and scary weather Rob! You've made me want to reinstall my Carenado planes :-)

It's hard not to love the little E145, and your shots showed it off beautifully Marcus - well done!
-
Wonderful shots Kieran! I see you are still trying to master that FMS  You'll get there, don't worry :-) How did the landing go? It's a difficult bird to land and I know that my first few were real crushers :poster_oops: Dave

Looks like a great piece of kit Joe! To anyone finding the CH stuff a bit pricey I would heartily reccommend Saitek's Pro Flight series, I have the yoke/throttle/rudder pedals and they're brilliant

Has it been confirmed yet Kieran? It says in the article the unions are going to oppose it which will make it more difficult for Aer Lingus to cut the jobs, but the fact they are even contemplating it is a bad sign.

My favourite ever scenery for FS, and your shots couldn't have portrayed it better! Outstanding stuff Vacs :-)

Great shots Kieran! I love the "mini" E170. Glad to see you're enjoying the E-Jets - flying them "by the book" is a lot different to flying the usual jetliner fan diet of Airbuses and Boeings - although rewarding and strangely addictive when you get it right :-) Dave
