  1. Ok guys, tell you what... I'll eat the canary.. Its a PAC P-750 XL made in Hamilton NZ by Pacific Aerospace ltd. Id better go find a pic before I start getting delusions of grandeur. I'm nowhere near as smart as you guys when it comes to identifying aircraft from not much more than a bolt, but as you left the door open with an easy one, I'll have some of that, even if i only get one shot Minx
  2. Personally, im dreading the day when MS drop Win7 support and only throw all their eggs in with Windows (Hate)8...sounds like a piece of garbage and nothing but trouble to any FSX user
  3. Thanks everyone for the Birthday wishes! Oddly for me, I couldn't decide what to put on my birthday list!! Guess that's one of the bad things about having a birthday so close to Christmas. Ive decided to pool the cash instead and take my time finding something. Still eying up the Majestic Dash8, but umm'ing and aah'ing about getting Saitek BIP (anyone got one? Not sure it really gonna blow my skirt up with its awseomeness). One thing i will probably do is update my FS Flying School... love it. Good day all
  4. Love it... Monday is wash day I could watch the A380 all day. Thanks for sharing John. Will look out for the rest of the series.
  5. Incredible footage!! Yup, no way something like that could be staged in our little British 'nanny state'...were not even allowed to play conkers anymore. The personal injury companies have made us too scared to sneeze in public!
  6. Hi Martin Great photo's! I personally don't have the incredible patience and talent that you and other cockpit builders have to create these projects...wish I did. Its amazing what can be achieved, and great that you kept a record of all the stages of your build as they will definitely inspire others. Thanks for sharing them with the community Minx Ps. Your English is fine
  7. Nice rig Martin Welcome to the Forums! Love your wall art as well
  8. Some great recollections there Nigel. Heathrow has certainly moved with the times. I really enjoyed the Airport watch programme the Beeb did last year (minus the rather banal and dumbed down hosting of course). I never worked at Heathrow but I did work at Gatwick as part of my college course, with Northwest Orient. I particularly liked my 3wks with the Maintenance crew...a great bunch of guys I remember every day working at the airport was a total rush!
  9. Beautiful pictures Juanvccc. Love the way youv'e incorporated some photos of the crew as well Loved hearing Johns recollections of his time on the aircraft used in the movie...what an incredible experience that must have been... maybe the start of a new post perhaps?? Memories of our RL experiences... I reckon we all have a few
  10. Mister Blobby (scary children's character and Top of the Pops chart sensation) Derseves a Google
  11. OK. . That is a blast from the past! I wasn't old enough to have the Spirograph ( my sister who is 4 years older did), but I had the smaller version called 'Spiro-tot) Hours of fun!!
