Hi Joe, Many thanks for subscribing! BTW: Are you sure you clicked "add as friend"? Just subscribing alone I think does not enlist as a friend, I may be wrong. I have sent you an invitation anyway. -

Sure thing Joe, but you'll have to be logged in as friend to Homerard (?). Hi Brian, That is fine, no problems. This is also why I'm keeping the old text formats too, it is good to have a copy in text as well as video. Think of these upcoming video blogs as "additions", not "replacements". I just think it'll be better to provide a more ineractive experience, but I'm aware alot of you still want to see the text updates  . BTW: If you do choose to sign up to YT, adding me as a friend once will do it. Just register, log in, and add as friend. This means that you can see my videos all -

PLEASE ADD ME AS A FRIEND ON YOUTUBE!!! Hi everyone, As per the red title above, I am requesting (if you wish, of course) that you add me as a friend on YouTube. Why? Within the next month or so, I am considering doing a few Video Update Blogs, instead of the usual text format. However, I do not want anybody willy-nilly viewing these videos (sorry, to many spammers & idiots on YouTube). So, if you wish to view these videos, please add me as a friend on YouTube. My Youtube account name is "Homerard", link here: http://www.youtube.com/user/Homerard?feature=mhum Please note, even if you -

Interesting that you ask that Mike... I have been discussing with Joe a *potential* Stand Display at next year's Duxford/JustFlight FS2011. I will try & bring the Pedestal + Overhead along if possible. -
Iberia 1301 though ATC were having a laugh when they said this... Sadly, they weren't.

Boeing 767 Overhead Project

Thanks very much Brian, you support is more than appreciated! :???: I am thinking of the following idea... Tell me what you think. After starting up FSX, the display will state "Overhead Project... Muts Hangar" (exactly as per previous page), but, when I enter a flight, it automatically displays the co-ordinates. The "Mutley'sHangar" display can almost be like a permenent "loading" screen (for example, when you start REX up, there is load screen for about 10 seconds)... I hope I've explained it well enough! -

Thursday 9th August NEW FEATURES: - Opencockpits LCD Card & Display have been configured. Oh Yeah!!!!!! It was *incredibly* hard to wire and figure out, but now all is done... It hasn't been mounted into the overhead yet, but here is an example display  . - The DECCA Panel (NOT related to the overhead (Pedestal), but, it is wired to the master card just like the Overhead Panel will be) has been fully installed. I am doing the final coding to get this baby working for the Pedestal. BTW: I included the DECCA Panel in this post because it shows example wiring to a Master Card... -

REX Overdrive Released
Aircraft Aviation replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in News and Press Releases
Yup Joe you are correct, te glitches I referred to were for the people that had mistakendly not installed the .6011 patch for REX2. Comment removed  . BTW, off-topic question. Do you have the FSX Light Bloom turned on (default FSX checked)? Or do you just use ENB Bloom. If you just use ENB, please could you post your settings? (Just paste 'em in). Reason being, Im trying to test everyone's ENB setups, and see which one I find best. Jack :???: -
Yup! It's out... http://www.realenvironmentxtreme.com/overdrive.html PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE VERSION REX.6011 BEFORE INSTALLING. IT IS VITAL

Some Duxford shots. *Warning* There's quite a few!
Aircraft Aviation replied to mutley's topic in Real World Aviation
Hi Joe, From what I experienced, the friction is very realistic compared to my C-150. However, we must consider that in the real aircraft, there are friction nuts located just below the coloured knobs. These friction nuts allow adjustable friction rates for the axis. So, in short, you can never get a "perfect" friction unless you have a friction nut. Sadly, the TPM doesn't include these... But I don't see why, as the Rudder Pedals do, porting this technology into the TPM would've been easy. Furthermore, it has a very much plasticy feel to it. APART from all this, the TPM is great and those -

Hi Joe! I'm soooo sorry I didn't see your thread... I was expecting it in the general forum! A REALLY great day out, no doubt about it I'll be there next year. My Pictures: Me in Bobo Sidwick's Cockpit: Also, I had the forsight to get this video of **unreleased** Saitek hardware... The TPM Panel: k0TbDWHDurc If you look above, Joe has rightfully mentioned another hardware project. I won't reveal too much before I have laid out initial design plans, components etc... Stay tuned! Jack  -
Well... Not revealing too much but it very much looks like a very high score... Fantastic add-on(s). Thanks for your comments Joe! Also, thanks Kieran for your comments too. Glad you both liked 'em. These screenshots were also posted at JF Forums.

Boeing 767 Pedestal Project
Aircraft Aviation replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in Cockpit Building
31st August 2010 I have re-updated the first post to accurately reflect the Pedestal's status. As you can see, there is hardly anything left to go. The throttle unit and rudder/aileron trim units are all that remain. For the throttle, I'm *considering* modifying two Saitek ProFlight Quadrants, much like Drewsta of the MyCockpit Forums did... http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthr ... #post88758 The Trim Units will probably come from Opencockpits. Please note, the throttle and trim Units will not be in place for awhile, due to workload & overhead panel workings. IN OTHER NEWS..... T -
