Hi Joe, The Shaker Centre are selling the Buttkicker Gamer LE (the more advanced model). I had never heard of it before that link; but now I've seen it... And it looks even more tempting than the Gamer 2. I might shell out the extra £36 for it after all :icon_thumbup: .

Anybody know where I can buy one of these? (UK Version) They're all sold out; Flightstore, ShakerBass... Even Ebay has none. Any ideas? Jack :001_th_smiles89:

Boeing 767 Pedestal Project
Aircraft Aviation replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in Cockpit Building
Sorry for the delay everyone. The wintery conditions has delayed all postage, especially to my area, so please be patient :001_th_smiles89: . -
Hello everyone, You have have known awhile back me and my father started a small business called Realitysimconversions (www.realitysimconversions.com). We have recently expanded our stock and our offering of services to appeal to a broader range of customers. We specialise in converting real aircraft instruments for use with simulators, namely FS2004/FSX, using the Opencockpits SIOC program. Recently, we have rethought our service offerings and have come to the conclusion that not everybody wants pre-interfaced instruments. Many, many people out there wish to simply buy low-priced real-wor

The Best Guitarist You Will Ever Find
Aircraft Aviation replied to IcedUpPitotTube's topic in General
I am a Bassist/Drummer/Guitarist... And they aren't easy skills to master. All three of the people above have mastered their skill. Interstingly though, I do sometimes use a technique seen in video 1 (slapping) when I want to combine drumming and guitar on one instrument (yes, I know it sounds crazy, but it sounds fantastic!). -
Hi Lads, I have sorted everything out. I ticked the "Enable weather engine with FSX startup" option within REX. FSX + WaySys now starts with the double clicking of the batch file. Thanks everyone! Jack

Hi Joe, A brilliant post to what has been a fanastic journey. FlyLo are getting into some more troubles tonight at 9:00PM, yo uwatching? Btw, did you get that rapper from my post years go :icon_thumbup: ? EDIT: Dang, it was on JF forums, years ago, I think I lost the post.

Thanks Brian. Joe, if that is so, how do you use REX2 with the FPS Limiter (I mean how do you use the WaySys, live weather, etc)?
-
Hi Brian, I downloaded WinRar and have used the prgoram sucessfully. However, I wish to start FSX how I usually do. I useually double click the REX2 Executable, than click "Fly Now!" fro mthe REX2 menu. This way ensures that the REX2 WaySys Starts up, along with some other REX2 related stuff. Can I achieve this? Also, at the top, do I select D3D9 or OGL from the drop-down menu?

Thank you very much Brian; a very helpful post!!! I myself had heard of people unzipping this file but I was utterly confused because I thought files had to be .zip files to unzip them. Jack :001_th_smiles89:

Hi everyone, At the reccommendation of Jesus (Bojote) from the Avsim Forums, I have downloaded the .rar FPS limiting file. However, all I have downloaded is literally an rar file. What do I do? There is no manual, and the file will not open in notepad so I cannot see the contents. Any help? Jack :001_th_smiles89:

Anyone Tried These Hardware Panels from VRinsight ?
Aircraft Aviation replied to GabethePilot's topic in Hardware
Yes. GoFlight sell good quality products and their offerings are more flexible than some produced by Saitek, Logitech, VRInsight, etc. However, they are a bit expensive in my opinion. -
Yes. Absolutely hilarious. I especially enjoy the customs officer. He is just so ignorant (unintentionally) and is completely useless at his job, but tries to look professional. And come on, who can't see the Ryanair references?!?!?! :001_th_smiles89:

Hi Rob, Great shots, but I still think the CS767 is no match for the mighty LDS767 :001_th_smiles89: .

Anyone Tried These Hardware Panels from VRinsight ?
Aircraft Aviation replied to GabethePilot's topic in Hardware
Hi Gabe, Sorry I took so long, I didn't notice this post! The VRInsight Modules are good for most FS Applications. In fact, with the exceptions of both their CDU Units (which have, quite frankly, been failures), I would trust using nearly all their products no problem. Only problem is; if that panel doesn't work with a specific aircraft; you're stuffed. If you're looking for an alternative, may I reccommend the Opencockpits GA Panel? http://www.opencockpits.com/catalog/general-simulation-panel-p-137.html?cPath=22_64 It has similar if not all the functionality of the VRI panel, plus full ba -

Thanks very, very much everyone. I tried to make up for the lateness by posting as best narrative as I could. I didn't quite exspect such a positive response! -
Boeing 767 Overhead Project
Aircraft Aviation replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in Cockpit Building
Thanks Joe and Rob! Cheers Brian. If you really are serious about the project but not quite too sure on some final details, I reccommend you head over to MyCockpit.org and ask some other people who are making Cessna cockpits. Of course, I will always provide as much help as I can! -
Boeing 767 Overhead Project
Aircraft Aviation replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in Cockpit Building
Wednesday 29th December I have sucessfully managed to get the 7-Segment Displays Card and Units working and interfaced with the Level-D 767! The 7-Segment Displays now show accurate and current HF (High-Frequency) Frequencies from the Left hand-side HF Unit. EVvrything is working; even the DP (Decimal Point) at the bottom of Digit 2 is working. What's more - If I loose power or turn off the battery; my 7-Segment Displays go dead, just as in real life. My 7-Segment Display Units can show any frequency a real 767 can hold. For example, 15.180, 25.309, 3.900.... Etc. Please look at the follo -
After landing at Keflavik, Alain and Sam settled back for the night. The previous flight was very exhaustive and the next one was to be no different. Well; it may turn out to be very different... Sam awoke first next morning, and rushed to breakfast before Alain. Alain finally joined Sam at Breakfast fourty-three minutes later. He blamed his lack of promptness due to a sore throat; a result of him shouting too much at Sam the previous day. Alain: What'cha reckon to that message yesterday? Sam: Yeah. Weird huh? I never knew the IRS could talk. Alain: No you senseless moron! Someone obviousl

ATWC 053 - Greenland to Iceland (Part 1 of 2)
Aircraft Aviation replied to Aircraft Aviation's topic in PIREPS
Thanks Stu, Part 2 will clear things up. Hi Brian, I hope I don't leave you waiting for too long. I've been trying desperately to use the Airbus X for the next leg, but it is presently un-flyable for me (throttle issues, etc). If it isn't fixed in a few days it's back to the Simcheck A300 for me. Hi Lads, Make sure "Autorudder" is turned off.
