Well here is part 2 of leg 19, after a short stay at FQBR (Beira in central Mozambique), it was time to take flight again for the next phase of our leg to FSIA. Thinking it was going to be a simple and straight as the crow flies flight, we prepared ourselves for this part of the leg, only to be informed by ATC that the AP was under IFR conditions, 'What' I asked CP looking out the window, the MET looked fine for a non-IFR flight, Oh well guess we will just have to comply then, so lets file for an IFR plan then. Cleared for take off, instructions to fly Rwy heading and climb to and maintain 5

Great set off shots, loved the ones of the sun just beginning to appear on the horizon. Well done on the landing.

Thanks very much chaps. The last 2 edits are RW composits, the Saber makes it very easy to achieve near RW look even with out doing a composite shot. Thanks again.
-
Very nice Ken, enjoyed that very much. Great set of shots.

Nice Ros, looking forward to the rest of the legs.

Fantastic vid Joe, and the scenery looks awsome, even though I am not a big fan of photo scenery because of the lack of autogen, everything just looks flat when there is no autogen, will this scenery have custom fitted autogen.

Thank you all, I will admit it did come as a suprise to me, as the entries this month were really good from all who submitted shots for this contest, congratulations to all you are all winners in my book. I have received my PM from Mutley and have replied with my prize choice, I will not say what it is for now, I will reveal it with some screen shots when I have it. Ahhh!!!! What the heck, I have made my choice, I have choosen the JF Flying Club Robinson R44. Being a Big GA pilot I have wanted to add the R44 to my hangar for some time now. :giggle:

Due to the distance of this leg I have decided to break it up into a number of parts. As I am not much of a heavy flyer and am therefore flying it in medium GA. Here goes, Enjoy. Got the call that the ATWC batton had arrived at FAPI on a VIP flight authorised by a VIP. As luck would have it CP and I where back in ZA, flying for an new movie about South African Jet Ace's during the War, we were in ZA to shot some of the training sequences for the movie. The first part of leg 19 will take us from FAPI to FQBR (Beira in Mozambique) Well when I got the call, I pulled some strings to allow a

I am sorry all for the delay in getting these posted, I did the flight over the weekend while in my WWW blackout. the biggest frustration I faced was that after having flown part 1 of leg 19, I was on my downwind leg for my first stop airport when I suffered a complete system freeze up, (2 hours of flight time only to be killed in the last 10 mins).  My problem is that I have not been able to get the time to fly those last 10 mins of flight time to complete my circute and landing. I do have a set of shots from this flight uploaded, but there too I have had a problem, finding -

That does look good Rob, every time I see these kind of shots from FSX, it drives me crazy, until I can get my new system to run FSX. In the mean time I will just enjoy excellent shots like these from you Rob, thanks for posting them.

Hi Joe. Man that Tahiti X from Aerosoft looks amazing. Good luck with the jobs, I hope you make heaps of dosh.

 Joe, those are some awsome shots, that scenery is mindblowingly realistic. Is that Aerosoft? And the Twotter looks so beautiful. I have got my copy of the twotter already, now just waitng for the system to run FSX. FSX is most definitly doing it for you. Everything looks just perfect. The water, clouds and everything looks amazing. Great post, and the location for your new hangar looks perfect, that view makes me think I would never leave the base.
