Steve I can highly recommend Carenado for GA flying, I every one of thier FS9 AC and none disappoint in anyway. As for the 182Q, the FS9 version is one of the best IMHO, I can only imagine at this time what there FSX AC are going to be like. As Joe has said for looks and all round functionality, that are the top of my list, as you know I am stricktly a GA pilot, the biggest I fly is the DC3. so for GA you can not go wrong with Carenado, and with your editing skills I look forward to see the results of that combination. Buy Carenado

Nice shot Steve. I assume that freeware scenery is for FSX only?

Putting the workshop with Steve to practice, still a lot to learn, but working with the wonderfull tips and training Steve is providing so patiently. Thank you Steve First the original unedited Now the edited shot ( playing with lighting ) Second shot unedited Second edited shot, was going for a late afternon sunset low light shot here, so am trying to capture the effect of low light for the shot while keeping a high light on the back of the AC. You be the judge. What you guys think, I am learning something, or need a lot more work. One thing I am learning is the fact that less

Editing Workshop. (Now updated with Part 3 - The final part)
vacs007 replied to reef's topic in Art & Edits
Here is my part 2 attempt for the editing workshop, getting a bit more tricky now, requireing more thought and planing. I now realize that the change do not have to be drastic to make a huge difference, just slight changes in the right place will have a dramatic effect. Once again Steve, this must be taking a lot of time and effort on your behalf, so I say thank you again. -
Very Nice Edits, I like the one of the squadron of Lancasters it has a nice classic poster feel to it. Very well done mate

Editing Workshop. (Now updated with Part 3 - The final part)
vacs007 replied to reef's topic in Art & Edits
Ok here is my attempt, my challenge is that I am haveing to translate everything into Paintshop Pro, while I have Photoshop it is only Photoshop Elements 2, so does not have all the editing tools used by you Steve, but PSP I ahve all the tools so am working there. The curves make a huge diff to the image, but getting that balance is tricky. So here is my first set, feed back please. Sorry tried to post the larger image (1024), but photobucket still resized smaller, but I am sure you can still see the diff. Hey Steve first rule of IT, 'you change something, save something' -
Nice set of shots Joe, never flown there myself, need to fly a tour around this region sometime, the Aspen sceney looks really good, but you have captured it very nicely and detailed.

a long time later I revive this issue, hopefully I can help I have a 8800GT and have the 178.24 and had the same issue, FS9 no matter what setting I set, I had no AA in game FS9, search for solution, what has worked for me, is I downloaded Nhancer and installed that, you can find it on the Guru of 3D downloades site here http://downloads.guru3d.com/nHancer-2.4.2-(NVIDIA-Profile-Editor)_d978.html Install it and once you setup the setting in there, do not open the Nvidia control panel again as it will cancel the Nhancer settings. I have my AA x8 and AF x16, and it all works perfectly.
