Steve, thanks a editalong (your word) would help me a ton. I have photoshop and paintshop pro, I like to use PSP as I find it a little more friendly but I know photoshop is more powerfull, so if working along with you on a edit will help me to learn more about how to use photoshop, then I would be eternaly greatful to you. My stuggle to create a as realistic shot as is possible has eluded me for as long as I have been taking and editing screenshots. You must forgive me, it is not that I am trying to compete with anyone or be better, it is a long standing personal goal to creat the most realis
  2. Rob, great set of shots, and 3 great phase of the ATWC, and most deff great selection of old warbirds. Well done mate, very well done and congratulations on getting us off to such a good start for section 2.
  3. Really great set of shots, thanks for takinf us along as passengers, it was great having you as our captain. I will say that the third last shot had me thinking of a Sci-Fi movie, when evil is getting the upper hand and are about take over the world and the dark clounds begin to build up over the city. :???:

Steve, another outstanding edit from you, I am just amazed by you are able to get your shots to look so absolutely real. :???: You have to right another tutorial and tell us what it is you do to achieve this level of realism in your edits. Please. :blush
  5. Great set of shots. I like the post as you fly, it makes me feel like I am rideing along with you in real time. Myself, not a long haul type, does not mean I will not try it some day, just have not taken the time to try yet.
  6. Thanks, I go'na try it on my next upload screen shot post.

One for the scap heap, that would be the day Steve, this shot is perfect. :nervious: I will admit, at first glance I had the same crit as Joe but after reading your explain it does correct the perspective and the fuselage shine questions. This is most definitly long term desktop material. While I have tried to re-create your skill on my edits, I realised I can not, I just do not have your artistic touch. So I will just stick to my best attempts at my own style, and not trying to copy you, I just do not have your touch mate. I have to ask, you wouldn't consider as a service to
  8. Bigger monitor Steve. :rofl No seriously, I am sorry about the size, but my image host 'photobucket' limits my image size to just 800X600. what I need to do is take the time to find how I can get 1024 shots uplaoded, I know it can be done on a free account, I just need to take the time to figure it out. Thanks for the comments chaps. I was going for the soft quite look that I would expect Oracas Island to conjour up in one's mind.
  9. Joe, just a question, but is the Section list included in this post, not the legs for section 1, 1 - 10, should it not be legs 11 - 20?
  10. OK here's number 2 from me for this month, still looking for number 3.
  11. Just this one edit. Enjoy, and comments welcome please, still learning. Thanks for looking.
  12. Oh please, please can I fly leg 19, please please Joe :toclue: What is it worth? I know, the bidding process, but I can try to beat the process can I not. You know homeland and away, and all that stuff.

  14. Very nice post CAA330, you have kept the standard high. Congratulations on completing the legs with a very nice selection of aircraft. Looking forward to the next section.
  15. I apologise if I am making everyone crazy with these edits, but I am having a lot of fun doing them, and getting feed back from everyone helps me to see where I am going wrong or right. But this will be it for now. Original of the MAAMSim DC-3 (unedited) Edited Thanks for looking Cheers
  16. Thank you for the comments chaps. Steve, thank you, coming from a master like youself, that is a great compliment. I agree with you on the Zero Pit, to crisp on the edges, however my thinking was that the blue of the pit would create a crisper image. As for the Spitfire pit, I must say I am proud of that one my self, now just to remember what I did there, thats the trick. As requested, here are the originals of these 2 pits to compare. First the Zero (unedited) Secondly the Spitfire pit (unedited) This evening I tried one more edit, still trying to learn the tricks of the art. Firs
  17. Nice post Rob. Enjoyed those shots. So Mutleys field is open for operations then, that's great, is there a FS9 scenery for it, can some direct me to a good quality scenery I can install for Mutleys Field. Cheers
  18. I was messing with some editing, trying to teach myself some editing skills, and learn more about how my image editor works. I managed to create these two edits from shots I took of my warbirds cockpits a while ago. Let me know what you think. Zero cockpit Spitfire cockpit Thanks for looking.

Thanks for the comments and the valueable 'crit', now I know where I can improve on my repaints, this version was a tester for me, it is not what I was ultimately looking for, I am still trying to find the look I am looking for so playing around a bit, this is just one that I liked, but the input from all here helps me to achieve my goal. Thanks all.
  21. I recently stumbled onto this web site, it can be useful for those times when you are just not sure where to next, you want to fly but you want to try somewhere new. This little site can be helpfull, takes a lot of the guess out of it. http://www.fourflights.com/
  22. There are no amount of words I can find that even begin to discribe this post Steve, but I will attempt to take a stab at it. Firstly, the total flight inspires me. Secondly, the commentary had me believing I was there with you, wow man awsome. Lastly, those screen shots, here is where I get stuck. This is undoubtly the most increadible screen shot post I have ever seen in all my time of surfing the web and looking at FS screenies. Sorry but I can not but help myself, but this mind blowing  :dance2:

  24. Awsome shots Phil, really enjoyed looking at those, an honour to have handed the baton over to such a qulified pilot. Joe it must make you feel good to know that the baton is being kept safe on it's journey around the world by such qualified pilots. I sure am proud to be a part of the journey and share an experience with a really great bunch of guys like Phil. Thank you all.
