Thank you Joe BTW...on a different tack...I just love this commercial very short video and wish I could make one as good:- http://www.youtube.com/lucozade

...but a delight to cruise around in, enjoying the local scenery. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYXc-jYYHSI If you have a slowish Broadband which causes buffering pauses, click the Pause icon in the bottom left corner, then click the resolution up to 1080p...Now WAIT as the pink band moves from left to right, till it gets about halfway across. Now click that same Pause icon to start it running again and finally click the Full Screen icon at bottom right...It should now run through without further pausing. At the end you will see a "Replay" button...If you click that you will get an uninter

Well Mark, If you want the "ring of fire" and the Desktop Switch to erect it or remove it, let me know

Thanks Joe, the upload was .wmv

Thanks Joe...Yes, quite a lot of that display was flying "at the edge". The real Hunter had no stall warning beeper but it had a nice rumbling buffet to let you know when you were on the edge...Since this model doesn't have the buffet, I'm pleased that the beeper is there as a guide. The take-off through the hoop was the hardest to do...I crashed about seven or eight times before I succeeded! The landing through the hoop I did on first go with no problem but unlike with the previous go with the Vampire T11, I got the speed right and did not go off the end of the runway. The most difficult and

Here is my video of Echo performing aerobatics at McLeland Field. The display is very loosely based on my real life solo display but of course we had no ring of fire and I was not allowed to go this low so the resemblance is a bit faint! The video runs for about 18 minutes, is in HD and very suitable for Full Screen Mode. If you have a slowish Broadband which causes buffering pauses, click the Pause icon in the bottom left corner, then click the resolution up to 1080p...Now WAIT as the pink band moves from left to right, till it gets about halfway across. Now click that same Pause icon to

OK...I thought you meant you were flying them :wootmesalia: Glad you like the package...I never released it generally and only a couple of beta testers have it :001_th_smiles89:
-
Now I'm a bit confused...I don't think that package contained anything that would affect the handling of the User Hunter FGA9...It was all AI Traffic versions. The only thing you might have put in your User aircraft was a set of textures :o However, if you would like my User aircraft Air File and Aircraft.cfg then I will be delighted to make a very small upload for you?

Kieron, Here is an updated version of the 208 Squadron at Stradishall:- http://www.petermcleland.com/dl/208Squadron.zip Follow the install instructions very carefully...It will install RAF Stradishall as it was when we collected our Hunter FGA9s and also a full AI Traffic set of Hunters in the correct livery. If you wish to update your Flying Version of Echo then you can copy Echo's textures over to your real version. PLEASE NOTE...This is for FS9 only. Here is an Update that just expands the AI Traffic flights a bit:- http://www.petermcleland.com/dl/208SquadronUpdate01.zip I hope you wi

Thanks Joe...I think he might well have been a bit boot-faced about it all  These clips only exist in recorder files at the moment and it all depends on exactly when I start the first one as to the Traffic situation throughout the movie...When I start filming I may well wait until he has taken-off before I roll "Echo"
-
Oh! OK Kieran, There are small corrections I made to Dave's paint of "Echo" and you have probably noticed them in my shots...I also made a set of the whole squadron of 12 FGA9s in AI models, with their correct registrations and pilot's names. They all have corrections to some textures to prevent scenery blurring in FS9 when these AI Traffic versions appear on screen. If you want any of these things then let me know
-
Well I don't have my repaint for FSX but if you know how to change my FS9 version I will upload it for you?
-
I'm busy working up a new air display video with "Echo"...Took a few shots today, during set up work:- No filming done yet so the Traffic sequence happening in the background will probably be different to the above, but I hope to assemble a 15 to 20 minute display. Thanks for looking

I finally got this to work how it was supposed to:- http://www.petermcleland.com/powerpoint/208_Squadron_in_Kenya.zip Unzip the downloaded file to anywhere and it will create a folder called 208_Squadron_in_Kenya...Open the folder and doubleclick the file "208_Squadron_in_Kenya.pps". The PowerPoint presentation should now play with music. If you just let it run then it will go for about half an hour. If you do not have Microsoft's PowerPoint then you can download a free PowerPoint Viewer here:- http://tinyurl.com/3ywowm

Here are a couple of YouTubes I made with this delightful little freeware floatplane:- If you have a slowish Broadband which causes buffering pauses, click the Pause icon in the bottom left corner, then click the resolution up to 1080p...Now WAIT as the pink band moves from left to right, till it gets about halfway across. Now click that same Pause icon to start it running again and finally click the Full Screen icon at bottom right...It should now run through without further pausing. At the end you will see a "Replay" button...If you click that you will get an uninterupted full scre

Thank you Mark...The faces show really well in this HD version and on my big screen it looks as if you are enjoying the trip :001_th_smiles89:
-
Yes indeed Joe!...That would be perfect. I'll have to think about that :001_th_smiles89: It took a lot of fiddling to get me into that rear seat and it was even harder to get Jonesey in the front. Trying to get eyes and mouth of the photo into the appropriate holes in the model is quite difficult. Getting the nose to fit is just about impossible

Chipmunk "Sierra Bravo" practices with the "Ring of Fire" at McLeland Field. Mark Jones is in the front seat and I'm in the back. I have reprocessed this video to make it 1080p HD and it is now very suitable for "Full Screen Mode" viewing:- If you have a slowish Broadband which causes buffering pauses, click the Pause icon in the bottom left corner, then click the resolution up to 1080p...Now WAIT as the pink band moves from left to right, till it gets about halfway across. Now click that same Pause icon to start it running again and finally click the Full Screen icon at bottom right.

I've improved the Grumman Duck's engine and water sounds:- Same instructions as before

I really enjoyed my first flight in this freeware machine at McLeland Seaplane Base. It has a rather unique feel and is laterally a bit pendulous, but I think you might expect that with the big hull. I like the look of it a lot and would like to see an AI Traffic version popping in and out of the Seaplane Base...I think I will make a special Traffic Version for that purpose and I also think I will base it over at the Marine Services pontoon. If you have a slowish Broadband which causes buffering pauses, click the Pause icon in the bottom left corner, then click the resolution up to 1080

Thanks Brian...I think those F-16 guys have got used to me by now

Thanks Joe...I will take a look at the Air Rally and see if I can fit it in...Talking of hands on flying, after all that automated flight I though I would like to briefly throw it around a bit to see how it really felt...It felt "Lively!":- This one only runs for 4 and half minutes...Thanks for looking

When I built McLeland Field I spent a considerable time building the Approaches to the runways...I built five approaches:- ILS R/W 31 GPS R/W 31 ILS R/W13 GPS R/W 13 VOR R/W 31 Runway 13 is the most hazardous to approach due to the proximity of mountainous terrain, but for the GPS approach to this runway I built in a bit of offset from the extended runway centreline to give greater lateral separation from these mountains. The attached YouTube video shows the use of this approach in a Light Sports Aircraft (LSA)...The Cessna 162 with the Garmin 300 Glass Panel. The video runs for almost

I thought you guys would like that...I felt compelled to watch it several times and got a real feeling of being there
