You can have a LOT of fun in a "Basic" aeroplane, even if it has no instrument panel. Video of the Japanese Zero in MS FLIGHT. This is an HD video so click the resolution up to 1080p and then click the "Full Screen" icon at bottom right. Thanks for looking

This is a prolonged oscillatory spin in the RV-6A aeroplane...Most enjoyable! This is an HD video so click the resolution up to 1080p and then click the "Full Screen" icon at bottom right. I know that MS Flight does not have the word "Simulator" in it, but this is the very best Flight Simulation of a Spin that I have ever seen. And I have done a lot of real life spinning!

No John...It does have a nice but rather dark cockpit and you need to switch on the lights to see the gauges...The cockpit does look to be accurate. For this flight I was learning to fly from outside, which is something I do not normally do...In FS9 I do all my flying exclusively in the 2D cockpit and all my external shots or videos are made in "Pause" or "Replay". In MSF I don't have either of those, so I have to learn other methods

Thanks Joe...I don't normally show that sort of thing but I wanted to show that a lot of work has gone into the crash element of the game

The first half of this video shows a successful aerocache. The second half shows previous attempt "Out Takes", which just go to prove that you should not mess with a volcano in the dark! This is an HD video so click the resolution up to 1080 and then click the "Full Screen" icon at bottom right. Thanks for looking

Here are a few Aerocache Captures...This is using the program as a Game as opposed to a Flight Simulator...It is great fun! Thanks for looking

Yes I am looking forward to the release of Alaska...It is such interesting and wild terrain and it could be very special...Sadly McLeland Field will be absent.

Clips of low flying round the Hawaian coast in an amphibian, using Microsoft's Flight. Having spent 12 years as a Ground Attack Fighter Pilot, I feel qualified to say that this simulation of low flying is easily the best I have ever experienced. The simulation of water is the best I have ever seen...It moves and sparkles in a most realisic manner. This is an HD video so click the resolution up to 1080 and then click the "Full Screen" icon at bottom right. Thanks for looking

Yea...Especially when you are not looking where you are going

There is no Traffic yet in MS Flight John...It is a bit quiet...And I'm hoping it gets some soon

bump...just to set them in order.

I thought I would start my flight back from Molokai to Honolulu at Dusk:- That is Oahu in the distance with the Sun setting behind it. Leaving the coast of Molokai on my left as I start the sea crossing. The instrument panel in this aeroplane is a bit basic for night flying, but combined with the HUD strip does provide a usable limited panel. Here is the coast of Oahu. And now I can see the strobes of Hololulu International in the distance. Clearer now with some runway approach lights. The city is on my right... ...and the runway PAPI lights are to my left. Nicely se

Sampling bad weather:- It is raining fairly hard out of a solid overcast. I'm back in the ICON for this flight... ...and staying down below the clouds. I've just called in here for some fuel. I'm in Honolulu and am just flying out down the main road to the coast. About to start a sea crossing from Oahu to Molokai. Parked for the night at Molokai and the nice thing about this scene is that I'm standing outside the aeroplane and the wind is making those trees wave about, and I can hear it rushing through the branches! Thanks for looking

Trying a new aeroplane:- The Sun's sparkle path on the sea is much improved on previous versions. This Maule is great to fly. It has a good ceiling to enable me to get up here... ... among the observatories. Thanks for looking

Today I had a great time flying around and enjoying this scenery:- A different paint job for today's flying. Taxying to a suitable take-off point. Full throttle and... ...away we go. Quite a long take-off run with full fuel and only 100 hp. Airborn now and setting off the follow the coast of Maui. Not so many airports on this island so I've landed here at the first I've come to. Walking now around the terminal building. I also walked down the hill to the nearest village and paddled in the sea...Lovely! Pretty smart houses... ...around here. A quick pre

Yes Kieran, The aircraft bounces on the chop...I have not yet been on completely smooth water but hope to find some to see how good those water reflections are. I also don't yet know how the water behaves in a strong wind. I did try the big cumulous clouds but the accompanying up drafts etc were making life difficult so I settled for clear skies. I managed to land at 10 airfields and some of them are pretty difficult to spot and have a lot of hazards like trees and slopes. I also found that special beach and getting there on foot made some points. The roll was interesting but I will get more

Here are some more screenshots of Flight...I'll make these the last:- A rather precarious roll...But I got round OK. I really like this shot...I'm positioning to get near a special beach. The beach is just the other side of that groin. This is the beach...I had to walk from the aircraft to get the points... I managed to put down the wheels in the water and beach her here. Thanks for looking
