Short Flight Carlisle (EGNC) to West Freugh (EGOY)
PanzerFodder replied to Sabre's topic in Screenshots
Thanks Mate. Like the extended version as well, how many shot are in there? just wondering as I have about 40 I want to use when I do one like this, think that screen shot videos are the way to go if you have a lot of images you want to show:) . I can just imagine what Joe would say if I dropped 40 photo-bucket images into one thread and thats just going to be the start of it! as I have a cunning plan in the making with the little Dornier and a lot of flying Cheer's...Graham... -

Cheer's Buddy I'm going to have a go at this, how do you get on with the music? I used to see a lot of videos in the IL2 days that had the music cut out by yourtube because of copyright issues??? Cheer's...Graham... -

Very nice Sabre, watched it twice already . I like this idea for doing screenshots, what software are you useing to make it??? Any chance that next time you could extend the viewing time by a couple of seconds for each image, as the time set on the above one was a bit fast to be able to take it all in, Or maybe it's because I'm getting old! and my eyes can't focus fast enough anymore  Cheer's...Graham... -
New Members Galleries feature
PanzerFodder replied to mutley's topic in Mutley's Hangar News and Announcements
We are presently uploading files and testing it out, hopefully not too far away, if you have any favourite flight plans or tutorials you would like to share then you will be able to share them via this utility. Cheers, Joe I can let you have those textures that fix the Do-27 black rear window bug, (this will be a first for muttleys hanger as nobody else has them ). Maybe you could have a patches/fixs section, although that may not work to well, as it's bound to attract non-Muttleys members, and they will burn up all your bandwidth downloading stuff Cheer's...Graham... -
Very nice job Brian, I do some woodworking as well . Have a few lengths of solid birdseye in my garage ATM, let me know if you ever need any more Cheer's...Graham...

Thanks Joe. I was just wondering if I was doing something wrong, as the free JF download of RAF Coningsby http://www.justflight.com/product.asp?pid=279 just will not work on my system, if you want to take off from there or look at it from the air, the runway is "FLASHING" on and off badly? not sure what I could do to fix it so I deleted it!, all the other freeware at justflight works fine though, anyone have any ideas of what the problem may be? Now! That does look impressive, thanks for posting this one, Dai. Will have a look at their website in a minute to see if they will send any stuff out to Canada Cheer's...Graham... Noob question now, that has probably been asked a 1000 times before. In the FSX Scenery Library, what is the best way to arrange/stack these add-ons? I have my basic photo scenery and the mesh below my airfields add-ons, is this the correct way to do it?

I enjoyed this These Guys are a class act, and it's well worth watching the whole video, they make jumping out of an aircraft look almost like it's a new art form. Cheer's...Graham...

Here's a couple of shot of where my justflight VFR meets the Default FSX (coz I don't have all the volumes yet) must say the JF Real looks a bit washed out here, and it's raining! but notice how the road matches up at the join, thats pretty good I thought . Think that the JF Real looks Best over Wales :001_th_smiles89:, the other parts of the country are nice, but Wales is the best IMO, as long as it's on a Summers day, as Gabethepilot has already pointed out. BTW: the first two shots were taken somewhere just west of London Look closely at the Default FSX scenery, I can see at least th

Hi Graham, With regards to the case, I wanted high airflow and cool temperatures, so I decided to go with the Cooler Master HAF series, more specifically, the HAF X (I wanted the extra room). Hopefully it will pay off when I start testing the computer! As for the store, I bought all of my parts from Infonec Computers (http://www.infonec.com/site/main.php), which seems to have the best prices on most of the parts (and if not, I can always ask for a price match). I quickly compared their prices to those of Canada Computers, and they seem to be cheaper in most cases. Ah! I know the infonec

The UK2000 airfields are very good :001_th_smiles89: I downloaded the demo's to test and they work great on my "Justflight VFR Real Scenery" which is handy because justflight don't seem to make any add-ons for their stuff as far as I can see?. Cheer's...Graham...

Nice set your building there . I have a HAF 922, and could not be more happy with it, my systems operating temp went down by a few degrees just by changing to this case, those big fans do their job well . I also have the same LG DVD drive as you by the looks of it, are you buying your parts from "Canada Computers" by any chance? Cheer's...Graham...

Very nice indeed :001_th_smiles89: Is that the A2A F4U Corsiar? I wanted to buy that one myself Cheer's...Graham...

Before you get another video card, do you have a spare PC in the house so you can swap the GTX8800 out, to see if it will work on that one?. If it works ok on that machine, then we can strike if off the list as being faulty!. And start looking for other problems? If your video card is to blame, you do not need to buy another GTX8800 (these as so old now you will never find a new one anyway) you can just by a newer nvidia card, if you can find an GTX460 that would be a very good choice, the prices of these are down now, as the nvidia GTX5 series cards have been out for a bit and the older 4

Think that Joe has made a good point. It may be a good idea to try another video card if you have one? as the GTX8800 cards are getting pretty old now, and it may have just packed up. Also, a few years back I have a similar thing happen on a old pc of mine, it turned out to be a faulty power supply!, only found that out after I did a full re-install of my OP Cheer's...Graham...

Hey Martyn. I posted a screen shot as I can never remember what any of these themes are called, (I must be getting to old for all this tecnical stuff) Water looks nice with these new REX OD textures, and the sky is pretty good as well . Settings I am useing ATM, all the new Overdrive textures have an "(OD)" after their names. Cheer's...Graham...

PanzerFodder replied to PanzerFodder's topic in General Aviation (GA) and Corporate
Good on you Joe . I have the window texture files saved on my desk top, so if you ever need them, let me know and I'll send them to you, it's just a simple copy/paste operation then . Cheer's...Graham... -
Hey buddy, with regards to the throttling up issue your having! your not hitting the "PAGE UP" key for anything are you? I noticed this when I set that key up to make my screen shots, and got the same as just happened to you. BOT: Very nice screen shots, the water makes me want to go swimming , and that reminds me! did you ever download the REX2 Overdrive? it has a few very nice new water options in it, I'm useing one of the new OD water effects ATM and am please with it, OD also has some new sky options that are nice as well Cheer's...Graham...

Digital Aviation Dornier Do-27 (FSX, SP2)
PanzerFodder replied to PanzerFodder's topic in General Aviation (GA) and Corporate
Thanks Sabre. ATM I don't really think I want to get into the skin/repainting lark again, I need to spend all my time on leaning how to fly the planes and navigation really, I still get lost, and have a lot of prang-ups when landing. Must say though, I am so pleased I managed to sort out the Do-27 window bug, I can look out the sides now and this is going to help a lot with the VFR IMO . Cheer's...Graham... -
Hi All. I have been playing around with my Do-27 this weekend, and have managed to fix the "black rear windows" fault on this plane in FSX with SP2. All I had to do was (you will have seen my screen shots of the "ZEBRA STRIPE" Do-27 B2) well the windows in this newer version of the plane work with FSX SP2, so all I had to do in the end was to identify the window textures from the Zebra and just copy paste them into the texture folders of all the other models to get them working so that you can see out the back and sides . (you can find the texture files in the download section of this for

WOW! another one from Canada, and there was me thinking that I was the only one , you should pop a pin in the members map so we can see how close we are, or rather how far apart we are! because this Canada place is "BIG" by UK standards, the lake district back home is just a small puddle compared to what I have on my doorstep now :o . Also thanks for the link, very interesting as it's about 1 1/2 hours from my place and did not know about it before!, have just mentioned going there to the "Mrs" and she more or less agreed :wootmesalia: don't know how she will find it, as she has no interest

Nice video, always like looking at these big four engine birds, I was surprised by how much visibility there was from the cockpit shots, I always thought that you could not see hardly anything in one these things, now I want a Lanc as well Cheer’s…Graham…

Great shots Sabre . Think that the treescapes add-on you got works really well :001_th_smiles89: it gives a 3D look and feel to the photo scenery when your close to the ground, thats another thing that needs to go on my shopping list, but please don't tell the Wife! . Also glad the you got the F33A sorted out, it's a nice plane and was a bargain at the sale price IMO . Cheer's...Graham... BTW: Send me a "Stick of Rock", next time your in Blackpool :icon_rockon:

I used to play IL2 a lot a couple of years ago, and there was always problems with the downloads even then, mostly corrupted files in the rar. Had to download stuff several time on occasions to get a good one!. Here's link for a few other sites that have the upgrade Available to download http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=10276 Cheer's...Graham...

Just adding a couple of screen shots for you mate (just so we are all talking about the same thing, with regards to the mouse wheel). This is the aileron trim knob, if you put the mouse curser onit you can move the mouse wheel back or forward to trim the plane, I find this is the best way to trim the ailerons as I can see whats happening. This shot shows the Elevator pitch/trim wheel, this is tricky to do with the mouse, so it's set up on my joystick(I'm useing 2 buttons that are next to the HAT switch). I can get the plane to trim useing these two buttons, but the elevators on the Bonanz
