  2. Thanks for the link + tip. Cheer's...Graham...
  3. Very nice Tim, :001_th_smiles89: It's that your own flight planer your useing? I'm looking for one ATM TBH, but it has to be idiot-proof (because I'm the one thats going to be useing it "LOL" ) Cheer's...Graham...
  4. Very nice shot's Joe, the rain must have made you think you was still in the UK . Do you know if you can use UTX Canada, with the FTX products? I just got the UTX Canada, mainly because it improves the coastline appearance a bit, and it says in the manual that UTX can greatly improve the appearance of some types of add-on scenery. 5. Can't you get one of the patches from the main REX support page? I was looking at those the other day when I wanted to install Overdrive, I believe you need to get a patch that brings your version up to "Build 2.5.2010.1027". Here’s a link to some instructions for getting your version to the right build number, http://realenvironmentxtreme.com/forum/index.php?topic=14279.0 Cheer's...Graham...
  6. After a long wait, due to the postal strike in Canada, my Flight1/RealAir Spitfire has finally arrived, (been waiting over a month for it, and was starting to worry that I was never going to see it ) But anyway it's here now, so here's couple of shots of the Contra-prop Mk XIV, must say I love the prop animation on this one, I think the designers have done their jobs very well on this aircraft , Cheer's...Graham...
  7. How about this, looks like it will be just the job for the NWT Evektor EV-55 the eninges are a pair of 536 shp Pratt/Whitney Canada PT6A-21 so it should be easy for them to get spares up there (may be a tad on the small side though ) Cheer's...Graham...

    West Ireland

Very nice mate, and the music nearly got me doing an Irish jig . Your going to have to show me what software is needed to do a video like that, . Cheer's...Graham...
  9. I only have one aircraft in a US livery! so all my entry's will have to be of the Coast Guard Kodiak. 1: A little fish heads out into a very big pond. 2: Daybreak over Long Island. 3: The searcher. Cheer's...Graham...
  10. And the winner is! stu7708, :001_th_smiles89: thanks for that tip, and you were right! I was holding down all the keys  Cheer's...Graham...
  11. I just saw a video on yourtube with a C208 parked up with the engine off and all the doors open, think that you need to re-check your settings again mate, just in case . Cheer's...Graham...
  12. Not quite sure what you mean by that little snippet, I thought that if all the sliders are place to maximum realism in the FSX controls bit, your plane always loads up in a cold and dark state??? . Regards to the manual, or lack of it! . Why not use your fraps recorder in the VC to record a cold dark start up (you should see all the switches and stuff clicking on and off) as the auto start goes through its start up procedure. (so that’s a Ctrl + E start ). Once you have all that recorded, you can watch the replay and identify all the things that need to be switched on or off!, you coul
  13. +1, BTW: Do we have enough people for a Canadian branch at Mutleys yet? :icon_thumbup: Cheer's...Graham...
  14. Now that's a good idea :icon_thumbup: Thanks for the tips, I try that out later on to see how if it work's Cheer's...Graham...
  15. Thanks for the reply Joe, still no joy even after I re-installed the AC . this is what I'm getting. press shift + E and the cargo doors open, so that is working ok. when I press shift + E + 2 the cargo doors close and one of the control panel mini screens pops up . I must have some wrong in my "button/key settings? what should I have enabled to get the door's open? Thanks again...Graham... PS: I can see that the Carenado C208 has more or less replaced the Kodiak in most peoples hangers, but for my future reverence in case I ever what to get the 208, does it have the reverse prop/thru
  16. Have you tried Shift+E+2 or Shift+E+3? Thanks John. That didn't work for this aircraft, but it was worth a try. Must be another key combination?, as there's nothing to pull in the cockpit either . Cheer's...Graham...
  17. Hi, thanks for the comments Guys. Don’t suppose anybody knows how to open the front doors on the Kodiak? I can get the cargo door to open shift + E but just cant figure out how to get the front one to open (not that its very important! But would be nice to know anyway ) Cheer's...Graham...
  18. Ah ok, thanks for clarifying that Joe :001_th_smiles89: I'm tempted because the Stadium of Light is in the package but still think it's a little expensive for what it is. Knowing me though it will be one of those things I buy when I've had a glass of wine too many one night :wootmesalia: Save your money for something else mate . download these http://www.aerosoft.com/cgi-local/us/iboshop.cgi?showd480!100,5872296530,D00003 and start to fly around Germany! just think World Cup! Cheer's...Graham...
  19. Absolutely fabulous mate, loved every minute of it. Could not see anything wrong with the landing at all, you should see the ones that I make "LOL" . Nice choice to use the aircraft sounds instead of music, I find it interesting to hear what different aircraft sound like BTW: What engine is in that plane? and did you ever fix the surging away thing at start up? just asking because the Kodiak that I just got does it as well ??? Cheer's...Graham...
  20. Thanks Rob, I thought I had a Mutleys first on this one as I had never even heard of the Kodiak until I stumbled on it at one of the online flight sim stores on Sunday night. I was looking for something to fly around the Great Lakes, with STOL capabilities! But I wanted a bit more speed than my Do-27 and much better brakes than my F33A Bonanza, I think that the Kodiak fits in here very well for all that, although it’s a larger aircraft than I had intended on getting. Cheer's...Graham... PS: I agree with Gabey, anyone want to do a feature on the lionheart stuff?
  21. I know!, and I can't even make a landing like that in FS "LOL" Yes it's a Garmin 1000, . The engine is a (Pratt and Whitney, PT6A-34) with a Takeoff Power of 750 hp The real life aircraft specs are here http://questaircraft.com/kodiak/specs/?detail=36'>http://questaircraft.com/kodiak/specs/?detail=36 You may as well have a look at the Quest Aircraft Company web site as well http://questaircraft.com/ Cheer's...Graham...
  22. I was trying to stick to the planes that I already have! but I saw this one and thought it may be worth a look for $24 . So here she is, the "Quest Kodiak" by lionheartcreations (added the link for people like me! who had never heard of this thing before ) It's designed to be a modern STOL aircraft, and the real life aircraft is built by Quest Aircraft Corporation in Sandpoint Idaho, I believe that you can buy a new one from them for a cool 1.6 million dollars This is the cargo version in the yellow paint scheme, I had not even started the engine yet when I made this shot, just wanted t
  23. Hi Max. Thanks for sending the repaint :001_th_smiles89: Installed it tonight and all seems to be working OK, had to make a new aircraft.CFG for it, and that took a bit of time to get working, but I got there in the end :icon_thumbup: Cheer's...Graham...
  24. Cool :001_th_smiles89: Cheer's...Graham...
