  2. Hi all! Well, tonight (16/17 May) marks 65 years since 'The Daring Raid' took place. Yes the Dambusters!!!!! :wink: :dance2: :dance2: A Lancaster flew over the Derwnt Dam, followed by a Spitfire and Hurricane. Flight Lieutenant Les Munro, the last 'Buster pilot alive was present, as was Richard Todd (Gibson in 'The Dam Busters' film). By the way, I'm English, not Irish Kieran
  3. Hi all! Well, this month brings around a birthday, no, not of the human kind but one of OUR birthdays! So, the DC-8 is 50 :wink: :dance2: :dance2: - 556 were made, with 110 of the -70 series. The DC-8 has had 3 different engines - -50 to -63 series having Pratt & Whitney JT-3, -70 series having CFM56 turbofan and the -40 series having Rolls Royce 'Unknown'. UPS, and many cargo operators, big and small, operate the DC-8. But the orginal design wasn't this big. The DC-8 was orginally designed to replace the DC-3 as the 'Skybus'. Seating is for 48.   6. Hi all! A Beech 77, owned by a man, has crashed. The Air Accident Investigation Unit (AAIU) are investigating how the aircraft developed tech difficulties. The aircraft crashed after trying to return to Knock West Airport, Ireland. The person on board the aircraft, one 51-year-old Markus Casey, has sadly died. He had one other passenger, see below From 'Galway News' Another crash, another investigation, another death. Kieran

  22. Hi all! Yes, it does have 54 pics. Here goes the story : While looking on page 19 of the screenshot forum I saw this excellent freeware scenery for Hong Kong. So I needed to try it out. Traffic at 100%, Snapper on, Panavia Tornado (Luffwaffe) and no AI Smooth. Look at the amount of Traffic!
