  1. Beautiful shots Jankees! Prehaps this will be of use from reference? http://www.mossie.org/production/production.htm
  2. The only difference between a B.IV Series I and Series II is the exhaust nacelles - an "in the field" transfer!
  3. Yet another re-paint that I'll have to install! Superb shots, although I suspect it's a long way from Marham, base for 105 Sqn Although the purists will tell you something - Dave's model is for a B.IV Series II (powered by Merlin 21/23 engines), whereas W4072 is a Series I (Merlin 21 engines), converted from a PR.I, fitted with short nacelles. Interesting to note that S/L A.H.Oakenshott carried out the 1st operational sortie, 31/05/41, for 105 Sqd. in W4072. Still, it's close enough - and who will really know?
  4. Will never get bored of them! Superb shots Jankees, as per usual. I foresee a lot of Merlin action in the coming days
  5. And not just diplomatic mail! When required, a passenger could be carried! Great repaint - looking forward to this one. Interestingly, G-INFO (from the CAA) has a copy of the CofA of this aircraft, but the details page gives a constructor number of 98421, whereas the CofA gives AM.NO.DZ411, indicating it's military history. Was handed back to the RAF in 1945 at the end of hostilities
  6. Great shots James - looked like you were a bit off landing!
  7. They've done it on one of the recent ones as well - but classic caption!
  8. That Varig 727 is a long way from home.....
  9. Love the Chippie - if you want something just to throw around for half an hour, this is the thing! Superb shots Alan!
  10. The Mossie is a bit of a pig on the ground. I do have a slight advantage - used to it in IL-2, and the ground characteristics are similar Nice video - must fly her again!
  11. How about the Tinmouse II 732? Very good......
  12. Wish places like this didn't do sales - just too much nice stuff!
  13. Ah, the Rafale may have won speed-wise, but style, historical context and fuel economy? I think the Zero wins there..... Superb shots and stories!
  14. Not much good if you don't like oranges - but who cares? Superb shots James!
