Great shots Alan!

Beautiful shots Jankees! Prehaps this will be of use from reference? http://www.mossie.org/production/production.htm

The only difference between a B.IV Series I and Series II is the exhaust nacelles - an "in the field" transfer!

Yet another re-paint that I'll have to install! Superb shots, although I suspect it's a long way from Marham, base for 105 Sqn Although the purists will tell you something - Dave's model is for a B.IV Series II (powered by Merlin 21/23 engines), whereas W4072 is a Series I (Merlin 21 engines), converted from a PR.I, fitted with short nacelles. Interesting to note that S/L A.H.Oakenshott carried out the 1st operational sortie, 31/05/41, for 105 Sqd. in W4072. Still, it's close enough - and who will really know?

Nice shots Peter!

Looking good Jankees!

And not just diplomatic mail! When required, a passenger could be carried! Great repaint - looking forward to this one. Interestingly, G-INFO (from the CAA) has a copy of the CofA of this aircraft, but the details page gives a constructor number of 98421, whereas the CofA gives AM.NO.DZ411, indicating it's military history. Was handed back to the RAF in 1945 at the end of hostilities
