  1. Copy the AFCAD file into the location I gave you and thats it. FS will automatically install it.
  2. If your using FS9, install it here: C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFlight Simulator 9Addon SceneryScenery.
  3. Neat video there. Gareth, the FS9.cgf is at C:Documents and SettingsYour UsernameApplication DataMicrosoftFS9. You willl have to enable view hidden folders to find it.
  4. I thought the transition level was 6000? On the Virgin 747-400 video I have I'm pretty sure that transition level is 6000. Anyways, as transition level is 3000, thus take A but with 1013mb, so D. I think thats right now. Good to know you've got it now.
  5. Yeah, it is Quadrantal. Transition Altitude is 6000 in the UK, so A is right.
  6. Happy Birthday Panos! :great: :great: Have a great day. :gtfl:
  7. C and D can be discounted as 1013mb is used as Standard Pressure which is above 6000 feet in the UK. As the Quadrantel Rule uses magnetic track, which due to wind is 180 degrees, you would thus have to be flying at 4000 feet. Thus A is right. If I got this wrong, someone please correct me.
  8. Thanks for the replies guys, good to read your comments. I used to do that, but I found that things like step climbs were impossible to do, and the screenshots weren't that great. Plus, I don't like leaving a computer running over night without being supervised at least every couple of hours. For this flight, I got up relatively early (7:30), and flew it throughout the day. I planned my schedule around it, so that I would be there whenever fuel tanks needed reconfiging, or a step climb was needed. I left the ATC on hold. The rest of the time, the computer had FS minimised and could be
  9. Lads, Its been a long time since I posted shots. A year ago, a member of my family went to Tokyo for business. On the return trip, she was kind enough to ask the pilot for the flightplan. The amused pilot not only gave her the plan, but also a set of charts covering the entire of Siberia and Northern Asia, and Europe. I was duly given these, and for a long time, I have wanted to fly this flight. However, due to many difficulties, namely the flightplan was using a later AIRAC then I had installed, meaning I had to buy some Navigraph credits, and due to the flight length, as well as many s
  10. Your right, I had forgotten about them as they merged with SN Brussels to form Brussels Airlines with new colours. My apologies, Marcus.
  11. Nice shots Marcus, although I believe it's a Norwegian 737 at Nice, not a Virgin Blue as that is in Australia (long way for a 737 to go to get to Nice!). :shok:
  12. I have noticed quite a few of you guys are using the wilco panel merged with the PA airbus. I used to do this, but the wilco fmc isn't the best, and I had a annoying bug with the wilco airbus' in that I couldn't handfly the plane, as the ailerons wouldn't turn with any amount of input. I found a freeware fmc for the PA airbus. Unfortunately, the Airbus equivalent of VNAV and weight calculations cannot yet be done, but everything else works. The develepor eventually hopes to have a fully functioning fmc unit. Meanwhile, the work so far is availabe as a beta program. Even without the vertic
  13. Great shots, loved them all. Can't wait for the next set. BTW I like your forum avatar.
  14. A german lettered panel with Russian gauges? Interesting, a cluye perhaps?
  15. Nice shots, the messing around in the Sabre must of been fun. And a nice aircraft for the second leg, where did you get it from?
  16. Cracking shots, a fine tribute to the Baton for it to travel with the USAF.
  17. Outstanding shots, loved every single one of them. Easily one of my favourite ATWC II posts, and the aircraft selection was great. I love the little E-jet in those colours.
  18. Huge amount of shots, with nice selection of planes as well. I like the An-148, I don't believe it's ever been seen on the forum before, and the Bristol, never heard of that one either. The 737 and E-jet were a nice way to finish off a great leg.
  19. Nice shots, I like the mix of helo and fixed wing. The helo was a good way to avoid a nasty approach as well.
  20. Superb shots, a night approach into Innsbruck as well, cracking stuff.
  21. Great shots Rob, good way to start this section off. I like the mix of three WWII bombers, the sound of those engines must of been nice.
