EDIT: Forgot to add Pink Floyd  vyqgjCKm9nQ Cheers

wisemanp 0
Mut, those are two of my favorite ever! I must say my iPod is full of Led, Pink Floyd, Genesis and Queen! But as Mut has already posted them I will post my favorite of today's bands...which would have to be an American band called 3 Doors Down. This is when they performed live on the U.S.S George Washington, so there are even some aircraft clips! Unfortunately embeding has been disabled... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eYPVQt-hZ2M Other modern bands I go for include Snow Patrol, Coldplay, Lostprophets...there are hundreds. MartinW 0
Easy, Sting, no one writes better lyrics. One of the greatest musicians ever. Agree with me, or I will cast you down, trample you into the ground with the rest of the slimy annelids. LIGtjCcdtr0 CJLAix9B-L4 j6Ewh6Bk-Qo
MartinW 0
Here's my son's favourite, specially for Kieran... Fear factory. Warning: This is not suitable for Mutley, he would commence a head banging session, get overexcited and then race down the street spraying the malodorous contents of his doggy glands up the nearest lamppost. Very embarrassing. Don't mind some of their stuff myself actually. I like to be regarded as 'sound' and 'cool' with the kids. Burton C Bell writes science fiction by the way so he must be a very intelligent person, probably a superior being like me. ogb5ay5MWXo X77wPfTF1FQ Bet you liked that didn't you Kieran? rosariomanzo 545
1) Pink Floyd 2) Police (I knew my wife during a Sting live concert here in Italy! ) - see note below  3) Pearl Jam 4) Soundgarden 5) Nirvana note: she won two tickets and asked me to go with her... that time I still didn't know that we would be married, have a nice 3 years son, and another one coming up right now!!!! Yes, another baby is coming! :wub
hurricanemk1c 195
Hehe, it's alright Martin, but Rammstein is better! Kieran
hurricanemk1c 195
Here you go, another Rammstein song, Los Kieran
MartinW 0
My son tells me they're very good Kieran. Phenomenal live apparently. One day though, when you are an advanced being like myself, you will appreciate Sting's capabilities.
hurricanemk1c 195
Interesting, Russian Girl Band t.A.T.u with Rammstein! All About What? Kieran
Martyn 9
Heavy metal....deary me this will never do! What you should be listening to Martin is: MGMT fUzL1rfzJD8 Blood Red Shoes EEzKBUsyGYg And a video you guys will all love, especially Martin....Hustler by Simian Mobile Disco: c0Bf6YGbc1c
MartinW 0
What you should be listening to Martin is: I'm not the metal fan Marty, my son Daniel is. I just posted that to thrill Kieran. Although I do admit some of Fear factories less shouty stuff is good and the singer writes ScFi so he must be a hero. I like Sting, Sting, Sting, and occasionally Sting. Did I mention Sting? As for your videos MartYn... Yes, I see, indie lesbians. Hmmm, yes that does have appeal for me. You would appreciate such things from a different perspective though. Now I understand you a little better, me thinks you is slightly gay.
Martyn 9
I'll be honest, its the actual music that I enjoy (don't really watch many music videos) but the 'lesbians' were a pleasent surprise :wub Although strictly they aren't Indie lesbians....Simian Mobile Disco is apparently 'Electro'. Although music nowadays is very hard to categorise, Indie is used to describe 75% of new bands that use guitars/drum kits! Sting is fine, I would draw the line at Neil Diamond
1mag1n3 0
Im liking the bands said so far, specially the old school rock! Im a lover of general Rock, but my all time favourite is Radiohead. I saw them live, with MGMT and Bat for Lashes supporting. They were mind blowingly good. MGMT were not that good to be honest, Electric Feel was very good but the other songs just didnt "work". Bat for Lashes were very good, and radiohead embarrassed them both. That was from when i saw them live, playing one of my favorite songs, Pyramid Song... My ipod has about 4400 songs on! Ive listened to about a third of that
hurricanemk1c 195
You'll like this - Dalai Lama And the meaning Kieran
Martyn 9
Seems incredibly morbid to have the last seconds of someone's life as the opening to a song...
hurricanemk1c 195
It's not really the opening of the song. You have to (somehow) rewind the CD and yopu get that Kieran
