Here are some shots I took from the show this weekend, please add yours here if you have any!

I really didn't get to photo all the show as we were very busy throughout! :thum: Hopefully we will get some more shots added.

Special shout-outs for all the UK Mutley Crew who bar-none attended the show and helped in many ways to make it a success.

Set up day, Jack came straight down to the show after taking an exam in the morning, he still had his uniform on. Dad Martin in the forground busy wiring up the HSI, in the background, Dai, Jess B and Lynda.

P1000161.jpg

Obviously not funny! Dai about to use the baton for something it wasn't intended for!

Joe,

That's the first time I have seen a photo of myself in years, maybe I should change my handle from Jaydor to "Uncle Fester"  :thum:

James :hat:

Err.. Now you mention it, maybe a job as a stunt double? :P

It was great to meet you James, thanks for making the trip down to see us.

Cheers,

Joe

Thanks Mike,

As you can see, we are pretty harmless but I wouldn't want to meet Rob on a dark night!!

It was our best show event ever and I was genuinely taken aback by the amount interest we had from the industries biggest players, all coming to visit us to talk about reviews past and present. Quite a bit of business went on :D

Cheers,

Joe

What a great set of photos - I'd sure have loved to have been there for that.

Happy to see the baton getting so much attention and glad all of you had a good time.

Looks like Rob and Jack are at opposite ends of the haircut spectrum, but Dai and Brian are giving Rob some company at his end.

A Mutley crew indeed...

John

EDIT: Where are the 200 W amplifier and 24" speakers blaring the MH Anthem?

Thanks for sharing those photos Joe. Looks like it was a good time. Wish I could've been there. I didn't know there was an actual baton.

Jack's and Brian's panels looked great. Why wasn't Brian's hooked up? It would've been a show stopper I'm sure.

well sadly I could not make it over, but it is nice to put some faces to the hanger crew.

It is interesting to note that we all seem to belong to the old farts club if grecian 2000 were sold on site they would make a mint! :)

I love the bundle of wires and the long face, reminds me of my youth when my father had a model railway and the points failed in the middle of the tunnel with no easy access point ,having carved a hole in the "hillside" he eventually traced the problem to a loose connection about 2 feet from where he had been sitting.

however I hope there were more youngsters there than your pics indicate because if not our hobby is really in trouble!

Perhaps M.S. was right in creating flight to stimulate new young blood into the flying fraternity and drag them away from shoot em up games.

i have noted the same trend on the latest avsim poll.

Almost like being there. Thanks for the shots of what look liked a great time. It was nice to see some faces attached to your names. Would have been nice to be there myself as it looked like fun. Plus you could have added another "old fart" to the picture. The picture of Dai with the baton and a straight faced Brian could be worthy of the Caption The Picture thread but it might overheat the censor machine. :D

@Britfrog, what you have to remember is that the crew bring you over 400 years of experience! With Jack and Rob included, it brings the average age to around 45 :D Grecian 2000 was never my thing, I'm growing old disgracefully.

For all you who "wished you were here", we missed you and would have enjoyed meeting you too. Thanks for your kind comments.

looks like you guys had fun, they seemed to have changed the displays around somewhat since I was last there. ie where that Italian Agusta 109 now stands was where the Bell UH 1 Huey was. there are a few other additions too. I,ll have to dig the pics out. A revisit is due methinks.

Looks like you guys had a great weekend!

A shame I couldn't get myself there. Keeping my fingers crossed there's one next year, and that I can make it then.

Great pic's Dai. :thum: Hope you didn't crash in that sweet looking heli simulator.

An ejection seat in a heli, never would have known. Does it shoot you up into the rotors? :(

Thanks for adding your shots Dai, it's great to see it from another persons perspective :thum:

Brian has a picture of me at the Komodo stand making a complete b*lls up of flying the chopper. I can't believe how sensitive the controls are!
