  1. .. OR even a jet powered C5! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Sinclair-C5-Jet-e ... dZViewItem I wonder what Sir Clive would think about the "Carbon footprint" from this beast :???: Cheers
  2. 4. Raygun-packing 747 to visit DC. The aircraft is scheduled to arrive at Andrews AFB the evening of June 20, and will make a night landing at the base just outside Washington, D.C. near Landover, Md. On June 21, the aircraft will be available for viewing by senior government officials and news media. It will return to Edwards AFB that evening. And John will be just the other side of the fence taking exclusive photographs for Mutley's :???:
  5. Wow stuck on an airliner for 7 hours would try anyone's patience and then to cancel the flight. :???: Oh dear!
  6. Hi John, I saw this on the TV this morning and it had brought into question the users "carbon footprint". (Latest saying in UK) A bit extreme for private transport, surely a BBJ would do? Nice to have the choice! Cheers
  7. Thanks Mart that would be great :???:
  8. And she's fun to fly in flight sim too :???:
  9. Hello Mart, Thanks for the HU. I don't have the F1 ATR but could well be looking at it now. I take it this is just an upgrade to the FS2004 rather than a new product?
  10. Being a fellow author of course Uncle Martin is following the story, otherwise we will have words!! Like why? and not?? :???:
  11. Morning Dave, You've done us proud again, I can see a couple of contenders for screenshot of the week! Love the rotate shot and the en-route commentary. I thought the graphics were great. Flight Environment have some great cloud textures which make them more fluffy so stops the "blockyness". You certainly prove there's a lot of life left in FS9. I see the door is open in the fist shot have you solved that problem now? Cheers
  12. No worries Dave, I'm looking forward to this one, we're well on our way now! I'm so jealous of all you guys flying! Cheers
  13. Oh B:censored: , I think you are correct Fred It was Fairford (well nearby) that Dai used to live near :???:
  14. Well it cant be Ocala otherwise John would have recognised it! So how about Upper Heyford EGUA :?: I know you have mentioned to me where you lived before you moved to Wales, but I just cannot remember where it was :sadblinky: Cheers

Thought so, I couldn't read his lips
  16. Try to re-assigning it to another key. I use shift + K any way as I used to get confused with the engine commands. (I'm easily confused!) Cheers
  17. That's not a bad shot Dai, lucky you had your camera handy at your luncheon, my we are posh  Do you really get barnstormers? Sounds like fun to me. The Red Arrows often go over my Brother in Laws house when they are displaying in the South. They stay overnight in Hurn (Bournemouth) airport. The other day day he was walking his Springer Spaniels on the heath which overlooks the airport in the distance and they did (What he assumed) was an impromptu display in two groups coming at each other along the runway with smoke looping over, re-forming and landing!! Lucky sod! I do remembe

    Canoe swim?

Sorry I meant to say can you swim  You will need to if you take your directions from Google maps! I thought I would get directions to John's house in Florida and surprise him with a visit but I don't think I will be able to swim the 3,462 miles across the Atlantic! (See leg 15 highlighted) So you're off the hook John!! Cheers
  19. Thanks for your kind words Fred, I am still working on it. I have gone back to XP Pro for the time being. I still have a problem which was the cause of me thinking instead of re-installing XP why not go for Vista  The problem is more deep seated me thinks, it needs a real pro to tell me what's wrong. It's why I haven't been around much recently. Cheers
  20. Sorry Dave, I just couldn't resist  Is this a default aircraft? Cheers
