Here it is at last! I'm very sorry for the wait, we need to get the adventure on track. As I said previously I really wanted to get to grips with the 707 before posting so I thought I would take up the Airbus A319-133. I nicked the model and repaint from FS9 It's the ifdg version. Had the paint for a while along with other versions. Here we are having pushed back, we're now starting the port engine There's some aircraft I guess you wouldn't expect to find at Midway but I have changed all my default FSX models to real life and they pop up in the most unusual places! Hi John, Thanks for posting these wonderful shots and comments. That's quite an impressive line up of metal and ancillary vehicles and so much going on. It makes a nice change from the run-of-the-mill airliners. I think I know the aircraft you are referring to in your trivia as I have one (Now  ) I hope those wild fires are retreating but with 88° and breezy I guess everyone is on high alert. Cheers

Don't worry folks! Uncle Mutley is here to rescue himself. It won't be the original aircraft as that is now in Europe but I have just negotiated a deal with a Canadian partner. Flying tonight, probably posting tomorrow. -

Joe, I've never tried running FS on an external disc, it depends which interface is used to connect it to the mobo. I guess you must have USB 2.0?, that's pretty fast but not as good as an internal on a Sata or Sata II especially if you have FSX in mind. Installing an internal is really a 10 minute job and the drives normally come with installation software so it's no more difficult than installing a soundboard, graphics card or modem. Hopefully someone else may be able to chip in? Cheers

Great find Sam. I can't really see how this got on

May 20 - Today is the 80th Anniversary of the day Charles Lindbergh made his historic non-stop flight across the Atlantic. Lindbergh took off in the "Spirit Of St. Louis" from New York City and 33-and-a-half hours later he landed in Paris, France. A true aviation hero http://www.charleslindbergh.com/ May 21 - During the night on May 21, the British made an amphibious landing on beaches around San Carlos Water, on the northern coast of East Falkland. The bay, known as Bomb Alley by British forces, was the scene of repeated air attacks by low-flying Argentine jets. By dawn the next day, t

Thanks for the replies, I tried Memtest and it came up with no errors. I didn't have a chance to test it yesterday due to a bereavement and probably wont be able to until next week. Martin, I think I will do the memory check that you suggest, I'm going to take the side off and give it a good clean out and re-seat the boards. Thanks for your help. Mut

If I get up really early :mrhappy: before I go out I will try to bail you out Martin Cheers -
Cheers Mart, I will give it a bash too if I can stop my PC crashing in the middle of a flight. (FSX & FS9) I need an expert on site! I think there's some problem with memory addresses as it either just freezes with a stuttering repetitious sound or reboots. I'm getting really pissed off with it now [/RANT](You get the idea) If anyone knows of any decent debug programs? I have tried Memtest, I have a feeling that if I reinstall everything it will still be the same. I may have a go next weekend as I am grounded for this weekend Cheers
