  1. Thank you all kindly, your comments are appreciated. Always fascinates me how beauty is truly in the eye of the beholder. We all see the same image, but depending on our personality, our live experiences and also our moods that we feel at that moment, we often all see something slightly different and unique within the same image.
  2. Hello folks, It has been a while but please enjoy these six shots of the Pitts, hope to be posting more again soon. And my personal favorite shot of this batch: Hope you all enjoyed the view. Regards Soya

Thanks, I used Paint Ship Pro 9 with these shots but by no means am I an expert in using it. I probably know how to use @30-40% of the tools, it can get complicated real fast and I just don't have to time to learn the ins and outs of it all, just bits and pieces.

  11. Hi folks, Normally I tend to post non edited screen shots but I always end up with some shots I like but don't feel they are post worthy. So here is my attempts at a bit of editing on some of those shots, enjoy: Thanks for viewing these.
  12. Cheers folks, appreciate it.
  13. "Leaving on a Jet plane" is a song written by John Denver in 1966 and here are some of the lyrics and pictures to go with it, enjoy: All my bags are packed I'm ready to go I'm standin' here outside your door I hate to wake you up to say goodbye But the dawn is breakin' it's early morn The taxi's waitin' he's blowin' his horn Already I'm so lonesome I could die So kiss me and smile for me Tell me that you'll wait for me Hold me like you'll never let me go Cause I'm leavin' on a jet plane Don't know when I'll be back again Oh baby,
  14. Thanks all for your positive feedback, much appreciated.
  15. Hello folks, Back in August 2010 I started a thread called Pick and Mix - Part 1, with the intention of picking and showing 10 of my personal favorite screen shots taken during recent & past FSX sessions, covering various aircraft, locations and view angles. Since then, every few months or so, I added another Pick and Mix part, the last one being part 8 back in May of last year. I thought it was high time to catch up a little and instead of just posting 10 shots, here are 20 of my personal favorite pick and mix selections. Most of these screen shots I have had stored for a while but ne
  16. Cheers folks, thanks for the comments. Thanks and personally I am not bothered with the VC part of it of it so much, I prefer pretty shiny models to look at but I can see how it can be somewhat frustrating for others who do like their VCs to be installed. Still, it will turn up sooner or later.
  17. Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments, glad these are well received. It is good to be back sharing some shots.
  18. Some great entries already, let see if I can add to that. Three Star return Golden 'Sunrise' Gate Dawn Patrol Good Luck everyone.
  19. Hi folks, I trust everyone is well in the flight sim world as I return with my first screen shot post in over 6 months, life sure does fly-by (pun intended) when you are busy. But I finally had some time to get my FSX up and running again and will hopefully be posting a bit more regular. For now, enjoy this three star return with Captain Sim's new offering of the L-1011 Tristar, which I have been thoroughly admiring and enjoying for the past few days, as you can see in the shots: (unedited apart from resized & JPG) Thank you for viewing my
  20. Hey folks, it has been a while since I posted but with the topic of this month's competition, I just had to add my contributions. It took me hours to choose which is to be my favorite RW simulated aircraft, as there as so many superbly made models for FSX, then I came up with the idea of choosing one from the following catagories: General Aviation Pride & Joy: Military Aviation Pride & Joy: Commercial Aviation Pride & Joy: Best of luck to everyone.
  21. Hello folks, Please enjoy another batch of my shots, this time featuring the photoreal scenery of Scotland from Playsims, with various aircraft from my hangar. (shots unedited apart from resized & JPG'ed, inc REX & ENB): Hope you liked the view.
  22. Here are my entries for this month Cold war Theme: The roar of the mighty B-52: An F-14 'Tomcat' looking for prey: And a Russian Mig-15 reading for take-off from a secret Russian airbase on June 16, 1952, its orders are to find and intercept JK's Swedish Catalina. Best of luck all.
  23. Cheers folks, glad you enjoyed the screen shots & video on the DC-9, she certainly is a classic.
  24. Thank you both kindly. Running FSX at a very high resolution plus forcing AA & AF via Nvidiainspector, you can get some excellent results in terms of visual. Also, I'm starting to convert to DX10 more often now as well, there have been some great post on DX10 improvements at AVSIM, even a decent shader fix, and DX10 runs FSX faster and smoother, at least it does on my system.
