Created in 2002, West Wales Airport is located at Aberporth on the west coast of Wales. It is owned and operated by West Wales Airport Ltd and supplies services to GA, military and unmanned aircraft alike. Centrally positioned within the segregated flying zones of danger areas D201 and D202 the airfield is in a unique position. Access to these areas, coupled with having created the only CAA accredited UAS operations manual in existence, enables the company to provide the most specialised capability in the UK for the operation of both large and small Unmanned Aircraft. The term “The Emerald Isle” is synonymous with Ireland and its rolling hills and vales of green – at least forty shades, or so the famous Johnny Cash song goes. But how did Ireland come to be known as the Emerald Isle? Ireland’s resplendent greenery certainly had a lot to do with it, but there's more to the story and it starts with one rather interesting man. The first time the words ever appeared in print in reference to Ireland was in a poem by Belfast-born William Drennan, titled “When Erin First Rose.”

Advice requested for interim graphics card upgrade

Hi again Adrian, I only use home made photo scenery and no other add-ons and I am more than happy with P3D v 4 which performs better than FSX and FSX Steam. -
Advice requested for interim graphics card upgrade
IZ0JUB replied to Adrian West's topic in Hardware
Hi Adrian, If this is any help. I'm using P3D v 4 on my "old computer" and it runs perfectly OK at 60 FPS. Its only a 2 core Pentium 3.2 GHz, 16 GB of RAM and the graphics card Nvidia GTX 960 with Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit. -
Happy it all worked out OK for you Joe. If you want you can remove the photo real scenery bgl file from my folder. The ORBX surrounding scenery looks good too. Cheers Mike.

Funny you mention that Chris as I did think about that, yes I know I'm putting my head on the block. I'm no expert but don't mind doing "simple" airfields not complex airports. If you have anything in mind run it past me and I will take a look?
