  1. My latest airfield for FSX flight simulator. This airfield is near Chiusi in the province of Siena, Tuscany, Italy. I have never seen any activity at this airfield in 9 years! The motorway is the Auto Strada A1 connecting the north and south of the country starts at 1.5 Our house and pool can be seen at 4.20 through to 4.40 we live on a hill at 310 M ASL with a panoramic view of both Tuscany and Umbria. FSX un tweaked, recorded in FRAPS at 29.7 FPS half size, unedited and converted to MP4 using Handbrake free software. Cheers, Mike
  2. Hi John, Thanks to you both. I use the FREE Airport Design Editor ADE 165 works perfectly OK, every time. Building airfields and or airports is not too difficult so have a go. Cheers, Mike.
  3. Today I decided to build a new airfield, its just down the way from me, and opened up TCALCX software which worked perfectly OK in XP but refuses to work on my new Win 7 system. I spent hours searching the internet and could not find any software to replace the old XP one. Not to be beaten I then did a different search and found this brilliant web site. You just click on the map location zoom in to check your airfield or airport and it gives the height AMSL, how clever is that! This is the link.... http://www.altitude.nu/ So I now have another working airfield added to my colle
  4. My local airfields near Perugia and Lake Trasimeno in Umbria, Italy. Homemade photo-real scenery in un-tweaked FSX flight sim. Recorded using FRAPS at 29.7 FPS, half size. No editing.

  8. Hi to everyone and thank you so much for the kind words of support. I use the software FSUIPC which under the Miscellaneous Tab has a mouse wheel trim selection box, tick the box and away you go. Your main PC mouse operates in the normal way. Hope this helps you Matt................... Cheers, Mike
  9. Trim wheel made from an old PC mouse, wheel is the plastic base of a DVD spindle with a wood screw glued to the axle which goes through a hole made in the side of the mouse and connects with the mouse wheel. Two cable ties fix the unit to the table leg. Cut out a piece of black plastic to cover all the works. ..................M
