Happy birthday Joe !

Also happy Ultimate Traffic 2 user. I spent some time replacing the generic "Dedaelus" repaints and also found AI plane models with 3D lights to replace many of the original ones.

Hey Matt ! I agree with the C337, but I totally differ for the rest. I never run more than 2 companies at the same time ( I just terminated Aurigny Air Xpress as I had reached the goals to start a new one in the region of France where I was born). Back to the good old Carenado C208B ! I tend to fly a lot in AH with the same planes as I like to feel "at home". My larger planes are the Twotters I use in Alaska. I only buy the planes for which it is "love at first sight" and for which I have an immediate use. Only one I'm missing at the moment is the Alabeo C195 Business Liner. Bu

Leticia is the southernmost city in the Republic of Colombia, capital of the department of Amazonas, and one of the major ports on the Amazon river. It has an elevation of 96 meters above sea level and an average temperature of 27 °C (80.6 °F). Leticia has long been Colombia's shipping point for tropical fishes for the aquarium trade. Leticia has approximately 33,000 inhabitants on the left bank of the Amazon river, and is located at the point where Colombia, Brazil and Peru come together in an area called Tres Fronteras. A long-standing border dispute involving Leticia, between Colombia an

Day 7 - The hacienda - Leticia After a nice local breakfast, it's time to leave for the second part of this stage to Leticia, my only stop in Colombia. The plane is pushed in the water and I get going. As often in the early morning, the mist is hanging over the Amazon, but I can nevertheless follow the river. 50 nautical miles from my destination, the sun gets through and the mist disappears, showing now the Amazon in all her majesty. I can now see here and there on the way some houses on the river banks. The town of Leticia is situated at the border be

I have a basic rule since I build my PCs ( takes us back to the 486 days ) : When you're happy with how everything works, don't touch it ! And of course deactivate all automatic upgrades. ( My graphics driver is from early 2014 ... works great ) Before you reinstall your previous driver, try to use a specific deinstall tool that will remove everything of the new driver (can't advise more as I am ATI user, I let the Nvidia specialists do it). Or use a previous restore point ? ( may be you didn't do one before updating ? ) -

Day 6 - Iquitos - Middle of nowhere So it's not all about spending weekends in town drinking caïpirinhas and watching girls, it's time to move on... Next step is entrance in Colombia in Leticia SKLT. But it's a bit far away, so I will try to find a nice spot on the way to stop. Adventure, adventure... I have food and drinks, a hamac and fly screen in the plane. Leaving Iquitos in the early morning, weather is so-so with low clouds at 1000 ft, but no wind and temperature is nice ( 23°C ) There are still proofs of civilization to be seen, but I know it won't last...

Happy Birthday Alan !

I'm not usually a fan of computer-driven flying tubes, but this sounds interesting... Will be following ! Been to Ushuaia myself recently with a Stinson SR8E Reliant, I confirm it's a nice place.

I put the boat on autopilot ( that's why you don't see me on the pics ) and at 45 knots I can do some barefoot behind ! I find it's another relaxing way of discovering these beautiful landscapes, specially with the RTMM enhancements. This Okiweno Lake scenery is really good with many settlements, rivers you can navigate and boat traffic. There are some more things in the next parts... In fact I could do this part of the trip this afternoon while watching the Paris Tennis Open on my second monitor...

After lunch at Brad's, I keep going east, meeting other boats on the way. At the mouth of the Machmel river, I make a quick stop at the Captain's cabin Then up the river for a few miles ( you can navigate almost 50 nms up the Machmel river to Monastery Lake ) and back to the lake Cruising by Machmel village... A look at the eastern ferry terminal... And a stop at the wharf where the sightseeing tourist boat arrives. ( Deltasim Malibu 32' - FTX Pacific Fjords - RTMM Okiweno Lake )

The Okiweno Lake is in British Columbia, a few miles south of Bella Bella. The trip starts at the dock of River Inlet CAU8 You need to first enter and go through the waterway leading to the lake. As you enter the lake near the western fishing village, you have on your left the western ferry terminal. A little further is a Brad's Bait and BBQ, and in the far you can see the Casino and resort on the northern shore. As I start to pick up speed, I come across the ferry closing on the western terminal. Following the south shore, I stop at Doos Creek

Will stay in Iquitos for the weekend... flights will hopefully resume on Monday !

At the psychiatrist : - I would like you to see my husband, he thinks he is a refrigerator ... - And how does that disturb your life ? - Well, he sleeps with his mouth open, and I can't sleep because of the light ! -
I'm also trying the amphibian Twin Otter these days as it almost doubles the cargo capacity and is also fun to fly.

An 80 mins flight tonight to deliver some cargo from PAYA Yakutat to BQV Bartlett Cove. The marshes south of PAYA : Beautiful coast of Alaska : Anchorage Cove with the Lituya and Crillon Glaciers pouring fresh water inside. La Perouse Glacier a few miles south :
