FSX will not start up
MyPC8MyBrain replied to mike H's topic in Flight Simulator X (FSX) / FSX Steam Edition
Yes Mike, i was reffering to FSX.cfg (i just saw this; in the future if you need a quick responce id sugest PM) you can use notepad to view and edit FSX.cfg content better yet follow Brett's advise right above my post simply move fsx.cfg away from your user appdata folder and let FSX rebuild a clean one for you the next time you turn it on -

this at least can be verified if true; an unmanned submarine can dive today up 6.8 miles! -

can you verify you can manually open the file? and maybe make an edit and see if you can save it? this will help diagnosing where this is initiating from. OS issue or FSX issue -

something isn’t sitting right with this statement a new analyses way never been used before why didn’t they used it before; and why all of a sudden its accurate in this case if that’s the case; they should have a location lock and this location needs to be full with visible debris they should all be there already with news teams; and every rescue team available to humans -
if P3D doesn’t speed things up to accommodate latest simmers needs this could severely damage their future; if XP gets to squeeze in any further as it stands; XP seem to be in the right place at the right time with the right stuff

first, this looks beautiful ! i can see where this fit in an architectural demo or presentation we don’t get to see such detail when we flyby i see many developer’s coming out with great work recently 3D renditions of buildings and objects, a good example is the recent NYC from Drzewiecki designs beautiful work, but the sim can barely run all these simultaneously i recently participated in efforts (may come up later on again) of using LIDAR data to generate; well… first we wanted to generate all the buildings the way we see them now in Google Earth 3D its possible, but not with

MyPC8MyBrain replied to Andrew Godden's topic in Real World Aviation
i apologies Alan, i didn't mean to be repetitive one of those things that just pops in your head if they lay low for a year, than reappear into the daily airflow there's no way they can be spotted as the missing aircraft in time -
Thank you Geoff, im sorry to hear your not happy with your purchase please bear with me while i look into this; i find this very disturbing! zip files are unacceptable; you should have gotten an installer from AS. as for user login issues, ive seen someone else posting that on their forum; though i didn't look into the thread

Just thinking out loud here If this turns out what we all fear the most; a planned mission Than the whole world should be on its toes for something horrible As it stands; these guys are well ahead of the game here And if they are well ahead, we are behind with what’s about to happen Im sure they covered all angels’ of tracing them back as well as what they have planned to execute down the road -
now we all should, damn Thank you for purchasing Benelux Geoff thats news to me; you got zip's from Aerosoft? i was under the impression they distribute an installer did you purchase Belgium or Netherlands before Benelux, and got Benelux as an update? Chris

MyPC8MyBrain replied to Andrew Godden's topic in Real World Aviation
what amazes me is the level of confidence there's in the 777 as an aircraft all the theories that were raised till now imply some sort of human interaction not one plausible theory cane up about the 777 malfunctioning that can hold a candle to sabotage -

MyPC8MyBrain replied to Andrew Godden's topic in Real World Aviation
my heart goes out to the families with every glimmer of hope to find their loved ones but a crash is not even plausible at this point they know the plain flown hours after cutting contact in today's world, i don't see how its possible for not one of the passengers, pilots, engineers... not to transmit a single distress signal; via internet, text, phone call... something GOD forbid any of us should ever find themselves in a situation like this id like to believe that in the event the pilot knows they are not going to make it the remaining efforts should be on disclosing their wh -

to get back to normal frames, im afraid its not enough to just deactivate FTX global you will need to completely revert back to fsx before FTX global you will than have allot less OOM if any with the 777 the issue is the new textures FTX introduced, these are at higher res and consume a greater amount of memory to run compounded with a long flight = OOM dont forget the 777 is also heavy with textures, REX clouds! the older default fsx textures are less pretty but also don't consume so much memory to load this isn't a question of throwing more money at your sim and it will run bett

Malaysia Airlines 777-200ER Missing In Flight
MyPC8MyBrain replied to Andrew Godden's topic in Real World Aviation
if this was a planned mission, the sim would played a major part in this the coincidences in this case are off the charts of probability every incident you've stated is not out of normal, by itself but all of them put together = something else to me it sounds like someone blown a gasket -

i think the wife knows the answer to all this; there has to be a reason why she got up and left the day before all this went down if this is turns out to be what we all fear the most; she is as guilty as he is if not more! i believe the answer or some big clues also hiding inside that sim box of his -
