  1. Are we bothering with a review, Joe? Thanks for the screenshots - looks good externally. BTW, do the depth charges drop?!? Cheers - Dai.
  2. A Big Thank You to Mrs Slopey (Duncan's better half!) for pulling my name out of the hat after the Air Hauler Record attemp a few weeks ago. My prize? A free download form Just Flight (Thanks, Guys!) - and here she is: Yep - it's the new Dizzie. And I've repainted it in my new company, based at Saint-Pierre Island, off the coast of Labrador. You'll be pleased to note that this particular Dizzie will feature in my up-coming ATWC Leg from Miquelon to Narsarsuaq (Blue West One). BTW, the JF DC-3 add-on is looking good - more screenshots to come. Cheers - Dai.

    A rare event

Snow - well, we've had 15 - 20 cm for about a week now. Getting in and out of the cwm is interesting, but the Land Rover manages O.K. Minus 10 degrees (Celcius) when I went out this morning - keeps you frisky! Take it easy, you lot! BTW, nice photo's, Phil - glad you're getting about. AH, and thanks for sharing, Joe and Jack! Cheers - Dai.
  4. If you've seen this before, I apologise, but if you haven't... http://www.todaysbigthing.com/2010/09/15 Now, that job requires some motivation, eh?!? Cheers - Dai.
  5. One from me... Good Luck Everyone! Cheers - Dai.
  6. Have a good one, Mate! BTW - hope you're enjoying the cold snap - it was -12 deg C here last night! :brrr: Cheers - Dai.
  7. I hope that coffee didn't spill, Richard - right next to the AMC, too! Nice narrative and screen shots to go with it - looks like you enjoyed that 'mini-break'. Come to think of it, why doesn't the Boss let me have the plastic, sometimes? And... Not when you see the fog around Greenland, Rob! Cheers - Dai.
  8. Picked up a video of an old film (Is that a clue?- Ed) the other day and saw this: And, yes, it is an autogyro - some say the pre-descessor of the helicopter - as developed by a certain Mr Ciervas. But, what was the film, eh? I'm sure you know! Cheers - Dai.
  9. Nice timing, Kieran - thanks, mate - downloading now... Cheers - Dai.

  15. Ah, Kieran, you certainly have the gift! Most entertaining - loved the dialogue - your best yet! And what a set of aircraft - the biggest to the smallest (almost) to the fastest (possibly!) - excellent. Like Rob, I found your approach - well - unusual... Anyways, thanks for sharing and brightening up a cold and misty day! Cheers - Dai.

Hi Bri' - nice shots, mate! Reminds me of Pembrokeshire on a bright, winter's day... Hope the Review's going O.K. Cheers - Dai.
  20. Thought you'd like to see this screen shot of the Air Saint-Pierre DC-3 at Goose Bay in preparation for ATWC052... The scenery is from FlightOntario.com - originally for FS9, but ports O.K. into FSX - and is FREE! BTW, what's the Vulcan doing there, eh?!? Cheers - Dai.
  21. Great minds think alike... ... from October's Screen Shot Comp. Cheers - Dai.
