Watched that video the whole 1hr 11 minutes on xplane forum.. some good things for 10.50 and the future..WED has been around for a while now with approved stuff being available through Gateway or with updates.. XP10 is looking good now there is a boat load of freeware out there and with the likes of PMDG coming into the mix things are looking up...a good guy to check out is Mister6X his scenery is recommended by PMDG for a DC6 tutorial...I kave Portland KBOS and KLAX by him and they are very good...the new UI will be a blessing and they are promising a better ATC but we will see..FSX ATC can b

I have saitek ones...adjustable tension..toe breaks etc...may be cheaper out there though..

Dovetail Flight School Released!

The DA42 is being released this month if you got it on preorder...my settings are all on ultra and it runs very smooth... there is a lack of lessons I feel and the instructor does jump in quite quickly.. i did feel the same with FSX though regarding instructor taking over.... currently I can fly either AC anywhere.. its ok and is not aimed at me really which my explain why I got bored with it quite quickly... -
good one Jim, agree with Matt about pedals, they make a huge difference, I have some and a yoke but dont use them as much as I should....

Thats the think though in the RW you would not have known until something in cockpit showed up be it high temp or something... then you wouldve had a real problem...

So here are a few more shots. I am really loving this one, the IXEG737 is on the backburner at the moment. Having the AFE is a great help in learning this one, gradually easing myself into it. Printed off the 54 page manual and the 2 tutorials, the other one is a 333 page PDF POH. Detail on this is amazing, its my first PMDG so I guess this is what you are used to if you already have one. Been learning the takeoff, rotate, climb, level flight, trimming, AP and linking to GPS.... nearly ready now to tackle the tutorials. It is very important to read the small

a few more, airborne this time...getting of the ground was quite slow but not to much trouble...just generally getting used to it...reading the book and prep for the tutorials..all around Portland Ontl..default scenery I am afraid...
