  1. This is a little video that I made some time ago, but never got around to assembling it...It needs the sound on to know what is going on and it is best viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1024p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. The Video is HD. This one runs for less than 8 minutes... It is a foggy day at McLeland Field but ATC do manage to get the scheduled IFR traffic away, with a minimum of delay. Thanks for watching till the end
  2. Ed, all my recent videos were made in MS Flight...I have not started P3D for a couple of years. I made the Mosquito video in P3D v1.4 about 2 years ago and I played it on my iPad a couple of days ago to make the screenshots. MS Flight is still my favourite sim and I would not be able to install P3D v2 in my present machine. I will probably upgrade eventually but until then I use MS Flight every day.
  3. Thanks for the comments Gents!
  4. I use the Mosquito as my trailer for my video channel, but I have never made a set of screenshots from it. I made this set of screenshots on my iPad while running my YouTube channel trailer:- This is on the run in back towards the airstrip for a... ...slow roll... ...along the runway towards the valley. Here is the pull up... ...for the half loop back towards the airport. This was over the top of that half loop. After a half roll I am pulling out of the dive... ...to head towards... ...Mitre Peak and the loop back to a final approach
  5. Thank you all for your kind comments Gents
  6. Just an ordinary job from a list available at each airfield in MS FLIGHT. This one is a short Passenger flight just after Dawn. This one runs for 8 and a half minutes. This video is full HD and should be viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. Thanks for watching till the end
  7. Mike, you had to be a bit careful with the Hunter as it had a limited time before flameout when inverted. It was supposed to be about 30 seconds at full power. I never tried the inverted approach to landing but I did commence my aerobatic display with an inverted arrival...Because of the inverted fuel problem I used to commence with a steep dive at the airport from a long way out and at full power but the right way up...I used to get low and level with about a mile to go and only then would I invert and at the same time close the throttle. The result was that I arrived at very high speed, low,
  8. Thanks for the comments Gents
  9. I'm sure they are Alan...I think if I was going to own an aeroplane, it would be an RV-6A. If the one in MS FLIGHT is anything to go by, It must be a real "HOT" little ship!
  10. Joe and I spent some time trying to make an inverted pass over each other, bearing in mind that the Icon A5 engine cuts after a few seconds of inverted flight. Here are some shots I took on the sortie:- We had a lot of fun...Thanks for looking
  11. Thank you Brett Actually that was a practice...I was practicing getting my video to work while not chatting...I found previously that, while chatting, the video recording only gets the sound from the chatting and does not get the engine and other Sim sounds. I did that little sortie to prove that it did work OK if I was not chatting. The result was so nice that I made it into a video file without editing and uploaded it!
  12. Yes I'm a bit rusty Dai...And this little wheel throttle doesn't help much! Sometimes I wish I had a separate lever throttle control
  13. A bit of formation flying in MS Flight with a friend...Lots of fun but hard work! This one runs for 5 mins...I think we both enjoyed this sortie This video is full HD and should be viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. Thanks for watching till the end :
  14. I did put out a Vertigo Warning but sadly I put it in the wrong place so the only people who will have seen that are my subscribers...Sorry!
  15. This short aerobatic flight is from the cockpit in real-time, un-edited! It only runs for less than 4 minutes...It was hard to fly but I'm pleased with it This video is full HD and should be viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. I hope that with such a short video, most of you will watch it till the end! Thanks for looking
  16. Not really Brett...It still lives in FS9 and P3D v1.4 but I have not been there for a long time. I will probably eventually upgrade my machine and put it in P3D v 2.x but I'm not in a hurry to do that. I might even wait for version 3!
  17. Yes, the code and graphics are very superior to FS9 or FSX and that is out of the box...You can't add anything to it and you get good frame rates too! The lighting and shadow treatment is also very superior. As for the Game aspects...Well that video is pure simulation in "Free Flight" with no game points for anything...But, I do like to play the game side as well, mainly using the Job Boards at airports. I think I have just about all the "aerocaches" now at a total of 313 but I look at each one of the day, in case I have not already got it. I fly MS FLIGHT every day and it is my favourite Flig
  18. No it was just close Brett...I have touched a tip a few times in the Icon but it always makes a splashy wake if it really touches...In the real aeroplane I have seen film of them taxying at high speed and using bank to turn instead of rudder and they did prolonged turns with a tip making wake. The place in my video where I almost loose it is as I stall over the mountain ridge and fall over the other side, avoiding a big tree by pure luck!
  19. This gripping flight is just me, celebrating the arrival of Spring! This one runs 17 minutes...It was a LOT of fun to fly This video is full HD and should be viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. Thanks for looking My Video Channel is here:- http://www.youtube.com/user/petermcleland?feature=mhee There are over one hundred videos on there...Thanks for watching a video for its full length
  20. Thanks for the comments Gents
  21. I don't know Geoff...They don't tell us mere pilots what we are carrying on clandestine sorties! LOL!
  22. This one runs for under 11 minutes...It was a lot of fun to fly but I made a Sow's Ear of the landing! This Clandestine Sortie takes place in the Aleutian Islands. This video is full HD and should be viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. Thanks for looking My Video Channel is here:- http://www.youtube.com/user/petermcleland?feature=mhee There are over one hundred videos on there...Thanks for watching a video for its full length
  23. Yeah Brian...That was the Nurse...She was the one that ticked me off when I got a bit low! LOL!
  24. Well I only ran out of fuel once! And that was in Alaska!...The 170 crashes were mostly trying to reach Aerocaches in very awkward places...mostly waterfalls in the Hawaiian Islands...One of these I crashed so many times that I gave it up and landed in the ocean near the cliffs and beached the ICON A5 in a little sandy cove...Then I got out and walked/climbed all the way to the aerocache, collected it and walked/descended all the way back to the amphibian...I managed to taxy it back into the sea, retract the gear and take-off and fly back to base. I made a video of that one. Anyway Needles tha
  25. Thanks for watching till the end Brett...Hardly anyone does! Yes, I fly my favourite flight sim every day and enjoy it more and more. I can't remember when I last started any of the others And yes! I was 27 when that avatar in my banner was taken and that bloke in the Flight choices of Image seemed to fit the bill LOL!
