  1. That is Dave Garwood's Auster and it is freeware and excellent
  2. Some more shots around Stapleford that I took today with Dave Garwood's Auster:- Thanks for looking
  3. Here are a few shots I took today at this airfield by ORBX:- Thanks for looking
  4. I took a few pictures in this ORBX scenery today. I used a Traffic aeroplane to carry my camera around:- Thanks for looking
  5. I decided that the Catalina was a bit of a handful for my North Island tour and on a good recommendation, I chose this C206G Amphibian by Carenado. With the rear seats out, there is plenty of room for all my clobber. Taxying out for the first very short leg from Ardmore. I expect to be back here in a week or three. One of the aims in this first leg is to try a couple of water landings with the extra weight of all my clobber and I have headed into wind towards the lee of that headland for the first. The touchdown was pretty smooth but noisy with the new AccuFeel installed. How
  6. I've been trying this machine out as a candidate for my forthcoming tour of the New Zealand North Island...I'm not yet sure if it is the right amphibian. The video runs for less that four minutes and is best viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. Thanks for looking
  7. Yes, I'm completely hooked on ORBX scenery and it comes ready for either FSX or P3D. I don't use FSX but I believe it looks just as good on both
  8. No Joe , I had made the "Fun" type selection as opposed to "Nervous" or "Silent"...She said something like "It's a wonderful feeling!"
  9. I took these shots from a recording I made yesterday:- Scenery is NZ North Island by ORBX. Thanks for looking
  10. You have to be joking!...To see what the default scenery is like, just look at FSX. This scenery is the ORBX NZ South Island.
  11. I flew the Mosquito the short distance to Queenstown, which is where I drove a car from, to Milford Sound some years ago...Then I decided to continue on to Christchurch and these pictures are of that second and longer leg:- Thanks for looking
  12. Here in New Zealand, where the only real flying Mosquito in the World lives, is a magic place in Fjordland on the South Island... The video runs for ten minutes and is best viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. Thanks for looking
  13. I took these shots of the Mosquito at Goodwood today:- Thanks for looking
  14. A few pics I took today:- Start Airborne Downwind Base Final Touchdown Stopped Parked Posing And again... Thanks for looking
  15. Did a bit more editing with this one, using the Tower Views but putting in Spot View and Panel View versions of a scene in a few places...I rather like it The video runs for eight and a half minutes and is best viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. I'm getting better at staying on the runway with this powerful machine Thanks for looking
  16. Just a quick circuit and landing viewed through binoculars from various positions on the ground. The video runs for four minutes and is best viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. I seem to be having some difficulty with directional control on the ground at the moment...But I'll improve with practice Thanks for looking
  17. Here is Dave Garwood's Mosquito flying at dawn in Russell Fjord. The video runs for about twelve minutes and is best viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. Most people (if they get that far) will like the end best, but I like the middle. The video was made in dawn's early light, so it looks best in a slightly darkened room, but that is not really necessary. Thanks for looking
  18. Yes, I agree Brett...These airports from ORBX remind me very much of the old Georender scenery in FS9 by Richard Goldstein. He had animated people too!
  19. This is new scenery released by ORBX yesterday, and I took the Pawnee Brave there today. Here is a set of pictures to show off this new scenery...And the aeroplane! Thanks for looking
  20. Cropdusting is a very dangerous activity as I have just discovered...The spray does not work in "Replay" so I had to fly the mission at the same time as taking the pictures! The video runs for about four minutes and is best viewed with the Quality clicked up to 1080p and the Full Screen icon at bottom right corner clicked. Thanks for looking
  21. Thanks for the comments Gents and thanks Kieran for the pointer to the excellent video...I enjoyed it very much
  22. Well I have not actually sprayed anything yet Joe...I have just been learning to fly and land this rather endearing beast of an aeroplane. It is a bit bubbly in turbulence but the feel seems right and the sound is excellent...Don't really know what I could spray around here unless it is insecticide on the ravine lake to keep the mosquitoes down! I hope you still have FSX installed for sceneries that do not offer themselves to P3D...That is all I use it for and I also keep all installers, ready for version 2 when it arrives
  23. My friend in NZ sent me these as a Christmas greeting so I thought I would share them...They are by a very well known Kiwi aeronautical photographer, Gavin Conroy:- Merry Christmas to you all
