Hey Tap. For me it depends how close the edge is to the viewer. If its really close i might chose a grass shape for the eraser, set it to something like 30% Opacity 50% flow and arase the edge till i'm happy. Different sized tools will make a difference of course. For further away like in the above shots i used grass taken from real airline shots that include a bit of runway. I then use a soft edge tool on the eraser and run it along the edge but not hitting the grass so as to leave a small amount of runway. I then set the grass opacity till it looks right as 100% rarely looks right and this

Very nice tap. Your editing is getting really good which compliments some great angles. Well done.. steve

Lovely flight and the aircraft looks great. I think i may have to invest in a 767 :mrhappy: steve

Hi guys. Just a few shots from a recent trip. The flight was for Martinair Cargo (love their colors). Based at Schiphol Amsterdam they fly to many locations worldwide, but this was to be a short hop over to Frankfurt which Martinair Cargo do fly too. The aircraft is the 744f from Posky with what i think is a very nice paintjob. The edits i'm still not 100% happy with with just a couple of shots i'm pleased with but you can decide for yourself. The flight....... The taxi to 24 at EHAM Schiphol. Cleared IFR to EDDF. Low fuel but heavy on cargo, we lift off the tarmac. Getting on co

Haha! read your "don't rush" messages after i finnished them up :mrhappy: Anyhoo... Appologies for being late and the flight a little rushed. It's actually the second flight i did as i origionally set out in FSX decided it would not make a half decent post. A big mistake in my timing also meant half the flight is at night and i'm sooo not very good at night shots. Ok, the flight. Durban South Africa to Mauritius. Lots of water! Aircraft would have been GA but again i was rushed so used my 757-200 as it was gathering dust. The livery would be Hooters which is actually not of this part of th -
Hey guys Very sorry for the delay on this post, home issues have got in the way of my flight. The flight is complete and i just need to organise some shots and i'll bang it up tonight. Sorry again. Steve

Hello chaps. Just a few shots messing in PS trying to achieve different effects and getting a better understanding of PS in general. Some of these shots may not be to your tastes so please be honest and say what you like dislike about them. United 747 awaits passengers at Frankfurt. Flower in a sea of Blue. Heavies at Schiphol. Rain on its way. United 747 drops into Boston. (re-edit) Guest appearence from Odin at Bergen. Maddog to the active. MD80 at Washington Reagan. KLM 747 rolls out at Schiphol Amsterdam. Thanks for looking. steve P.S. @ joe, these shots are pre-bo

Very nice flight and commentary. Some cracking shots too. I best go find a plane to fly the next leg steve -
Thanks. Its the FS9 version joe, i'll not be running high detail airports with FSX till i get some ram and new gfx card. I am also waiting for the new traffic from JF as it took me along time to get it as is in FS9 and would rather just use theres this time round. steve

I just tried Bulk upload and it was very fast and then i realised it had reduced my images in size and thus quality.....i'll be sticking to doing them 1 at a time For a short while i did use the horizon forum but they were very, ours is better than theres attitude and i found it all a bit petty. What do JF think of Aerosofts latest offering for Germany VFR. I think it looks fantastic but will it take a FPS hit with all them 3D objects? steve

Makes me want to did FSX out again Great shot joe... steve

Hey guys. I have been messing with a couple of new purchases and thought i'd share a couple of snaps. Possibly a movie to come but not yet [] Coolsky Super 80 and Cloud9 Bergen.... Sat cold away from the gates. Plenty of flights awaiting morning commutes. Taxi on to the active. My first rotate and the first aircraft i have had vocal callouts. And finally on my way to nowhere in particular... Thanks for looking. Will try a full flight soon but work is taking much time at the moment. Comments good and bad welcome... steve

Thanks for the comments guys. I will be upgrading to the 737-800/900 for the better cockpit eventually but i keep buying other stuff like Bergen and an MD-80. When it arrives from Play.com i can feel a SAS flight coming on :mrhappy: steve

Hey Guys. I noticed FS has switched my textures to Autumn, the sun is hanging that bit lower and some fine weather greeted me at Frankfurt.....Grey and wet. The flight was to be EDDF to ENBR along the coast of Denmark but after reaching cruise a trip to the local DIY store halted play. The A/C the PMDG 737-700f of FedEx. A few shots from the departure. Getting up off 25R. Tower hands me over to Departure as we climb out too 5000' First turn and a proximity warning. Climbing to FL.150. Starting to pull through the weather but still raining. Heading up to our cruise of FL.200 with

Looks nice but £18!! I know £18 is not a vast amount but when aerosoft released Germany part 1 for FSX covering a quater of germany including mesh, photoscenery and Millions of hand placed items including custom buildings in high detail cities for £30, it makes it hard to justify the price. I think i'd rather spend the £18 on Mega Airport Heathrow :mrhappy: Nice shots though. steve

Hey guys. Often i will fly taking pictures as i go and then not post for whatever reason. I had not intended to post these as they were pretty average and over territory i had covered before. My reason for posting?....well take a look and see [] The flight was the return leg of a special charter to Samedan LSZS from Salzburg LOWS. Aircraft is the Boeing 737-600 of Lauda airlines. The flight would be at 13500 feet just enough to clear the alps in this area. After much confusion with the FMC due to a wrong route entry, Tulsi and Tolsi being mixed up, we were cleared for takeoff from 25 an

Hey guys, Not quite my first but certainly from my first couple of weeks in FSX with Horizons VFR demo. I think i may have posted one or two before this but was a long time ago. I only started flying flightsim early this year so not quite the same as seeing your old shots. Its not actually edited though, did not know how back then lol :eyebrow: Then i migrated to FS9 due to the high quality addons at cut down prices :eyebrow: Hawk in Wales. steve
