Too easy! Wittman Regional, KOSH, Oshkosh Wisconsin. Which reminds me: We should have a fly-in or something for AirVenture at the end of this month... :dance2:

Do you see any other real animals in my post? Definitely flamencos -- they're attracted to the cameras. "Africa's Got Talent..."

If you log on to the app store from the iPad, it'll see you've already bought it and let you download it free of charge. Or you can sync with iTunes & get it transferred that way.

North-South VFR transits through the Gatwick overhead have long been a staple of mine on Vatsim (it doesn't half upset those 737 jocks on final!), and it's something I've never managed to do RW. But this lucky blighter managed to get clearance:

I'll see your Monty Python and raise you Armstrong & Miller...

Tell me about it. I've recently flown extensively around a big chunk of Africa that is famous for it's wildlife - massive herds of attenboroughs; big game parks and reserves chock full of BBC wildlife documentary units as far as the eye can see, lakes covered in pink flamencos, and Wimoweh is constantly wafting on the evening breeze... But in FS... nada. The place is a barren desert.

It's an international airport. The clues: 1. A short story by Ernest Hemingway 2. It looks much better with a Hunter Should be easy...

It was a fast horse...

Well, Bellerophon's horse was Pegasus, which was white. There's Whitehorse Intl, in Yukon Territory, and Whitehorse does have a second airport....

Don't forget, if you buy and install Flight, that does NOT mean you have to uninstall FSX. You will not lose out on the money that you've spent on FSX addons, as they whill be right where you left them. The same is true for FS9 addons, FS2002 etc etc I really fail to understand the doom and gloom over addons -- Installing MS Flight will no more invalidate my FSX investment than would, say, Railworks. If Flight then allows us to use or import said addons, that is pure bonus.

Should also mention it's a universal app, so it runs properly on iPad too. Oh, and it's £3.49.

"And now: The Gallery!" That brought back a few memories :icon_thumbup: BTW Dai, it's a vibraphone, not a xylophone. The tune was "Left Bank Two", by the Noveltones, released in 1964, and of course famous for being the Gallery music on both Vision On and take Hart. Oh, and the pics were good too!

Playing games and watching Tennis! I thought it was supposed to be *work* experience! :icon_rockon: And just *what* are you wearing on your legs, young man? :icon_yikes:

CR1 SOFTWARE AIRCRAFT NOW DONATIONWARE
Tim_A replied to Andrew Godden's topic in News and Press Releases
I hadn't even heard of these until now (the addons I mean, not the planes!) They certainly look very good from the videos, and well worth a donation. -
Would it be a tur[tle]bine?

@Panzer: Do you have any other Conningsby scenery that might be interfering (e.g UK2000 VFR Airfields)? When you get stuff flashing it's often because two different things are fighting to be seen in the same place. As regards the ordering of things in the library, in general, the ordering is pretty natural: Things higher up in the list will display over the top of things lower down. But there are exceptions... * Mesh. Can be anywhere in the list. The highest resolution is always used, regardless of its position in the list. * Photo scenery will always display over landclass scenery. If you

I think Ireland came first because the photography was available first. I suspect the reason why Norn Iron is missing is that the photos have to come from GetMapping, rather than OSI.
