  1. Fantastic shots! May I ask if you are using a weather generator? The weather conditions look very realistic.
  2. Here it goes! 1. An early morning departure. 2. Approaching Heathrow on a rather chilly afternoon. 3. A KLM 747 taking off in stormy weather. Good luck to all!
  3. Thank you for the kind comments! I'll try to do some more editing in the future.
  4. After looking at all the beautiful edits here in the "Art and Edits" section, I decided to try my own. Enjoy! Original Screenshot: After Editing:

Hmmm... (10 minutes later) I think I'll go with the ATR-72.

    PC Pilot

Hi, So I'm renewing my subscription to the wonderful PC Pilot magazine (http://www.pcpilot.net/), and I am presented with a choice to receive one of two add-ons with a two year subsricption: 1. Just Flight Flying Club 2 2. Flight 1 ATR-72 I am horrible with decisions, so I wanted to know if anyone has a recommendation?
  7. Here are some old shots from my screenshot folder. Good luck to all! 1. Passing over Maho Beach. 2. Flying over Switzerland in the crisp, morning air. 3. Approaching an airport that I don't remember in the Pacific Northwest (hey, it's a big area).
  8. Fantastic! I thought the first one was real.
  9. Fantastic shots Soya! I love the one with Japan Cargo in the sunrise/sunset.
  10. Well, "twice" is used a lot here in Canada, so it should be quite common in the U.S. as well. I personally prefer to use "twice" over "two times".

Looks nice! Does it have a VC?
  12. Wow, fantastic shots Joe! I really love Earth Simulations' scenery.
  13. Don't scare me! It seems like I'm going to have to go down that route as well...
  14. Uh, oh... I tried using the System Restore, but I still get a fatal error message. Help?
  15. Well, I decided to repair FSX, and when I first started it up, I got this wonderful message: "A fatal error has occurred. Any unsaved data will be lost. Do you wish to restart Flight Simulator X?" I'm glad I set a system restore point before I did this...
  16. Hi, I've been using FSX for about two years now, and over that period of time, a few problems have popped up, including: - no landing lights - winter runway textures in summer - and a few other small niggles (many that I probably haven't even noticed) So, I have decided to repair my FSX installation, using the "Repair" option on the DVD. I just have a few questions: 1. Will repairing FSX do anything to my add-ons (especially REX)? 2. Will the fsx.cfg remain the same, or will it be reverted back to normal? (I have a few tweaks that help performance) 3. Approximately how long will it
  17. Fantastic shots Soya! I really love the 4th, 6th, and 8th ones. You have some excellent textures there.
  18. Fantastic shots! :icon_thumbup: The U.S Air Force 747 in the last two shots looks so real. Is it a static aircraft?
  19. Ahhh, I can finally show my true flying style... Good luck to all! 1. I was surprised I could actually do this! (I used the PMDG 747 for maximum realism.) 2. The engines seemed slightly dirty... 3. I went off the runway and burned the grass, but at least I survived!
  20. I'm a bit late, but happy birthday! I hope you had a great time! :bday: Wishing you the best, John
  21. Wow, thank you for all your help guys! I really appreciate it. I agree that I posted the shots a bit late, and I'll try to do it earlier next time. Regards, John
  22. Well, it doesn't seem like anyone is going to answer. This is the best I can do for posting the screenshots. Sorry if this is the wrong way to do it, but I hope they will still count for the competition. The first two are Spitfires, and the last one is a Hurricane. Good luck to all. http://img339.imageshack.us/i/screenshot1azr.jpg/ http://img88.imageshack.us/i/screenshot2hgw.jpg/ http://img708.imageshack.us/i/screenshot3fsc.jpg/ EDIT: edited by Mutley for John Regards, John
  23. Hi, I'm new here, and I am attempting to post a screenshot, however it does not seem to be working (I am uploading the screenshot using ImageShack). Could someone please help me? Regards, John
