one and all to Kieran's Mni Tour - Leg 6! This leg takes us from Blackpool to East Midlands, my aircraft spotting home! This leg was very inportant to me in 2 ways. It was flown at low level in the Irish Air Corps Supermarine Spitfire 161, which is a trainer and is preserved at Duxford I think. This leg is also inportant to me as I'm flying 'home' for my planes. After a quick visit to EMA to see the world's largest production freighter, I showed a interest in aviation!!! Not related to this at all, but when KLM 804 crashed at Shannon ages ago (it was a Super Connie) they made sure that every tafe-off and landing was seen by at least 2 people So the trainee should have been supervised by someone listenig in on all of his/her conversations with the aircraft that he was controlling Kieran
