I missed the fire bit The DCVR and FDFR might be listened/ viewed by the NTSB and their Russian counterparts, though the NTSB's involment is constricted by the fact I belive it was a domestic flight, but involed a American built plane. As I said, the same kind of happened in JAL123 accident, though through completely different curcmstances, the NTSB was able to help out a bit, but due to it being a domestic flight, very little power was availbe to the NTSB Kieran
