  1. I'm really in a laid back mood after that flight David. Getting use to the beach life! Great shots and commentary again, this is breath of fresh air! Cheers
  2. That's going to be one huge airport, they must be predicting a lot of traffic. With 6 parallel runways there would be some excellent spotting opportunities. :mrhappy: I expect you will be there Sam to take some more photos for Airliners.net? Trying to get six in one shot! I'm unlikely to use it though.
  3. Thanks John, when I publish the details of the North American adventure I will include these links. Cheers
  4. Sounds good Simi, I guess you are after knowing if you can record multiple AI with recording the playback from the first sessions AI and your aircraft as 2 x AI for the next session? It would only take 5 minutes to try so have a go!!
  5. Hi Simi, I have only used FS Recorder once and I was amazed with the results. It's great for honing your formation flying skills! I've not yet had a chance to really explore it's capabilities, I would just install it and have a go if i were you. Hopefully someone else here has got more to say? Cheers
  6. Hi John, Thanks for the update, like you I can't believe that if #6 had clipped a tree that he would continue the display considering the incredible stress these aircraft must be under. By the sound of it, in that last manoeuvre he got to the point of no return and with the nose dropping like that combined with a possible momentary black out, it's a recipe for disaster.
  7. Well done Joe nice touch and nice shots. Cheers
  8. Great set of shots! Looked like a lovely day, Dai glad you made it away before the thunderstorms :mrhappy: She sure is a beautiful aircraft too and I am looking forward to the barbie on the beach. Cheers
  9. I managed to snap him before you deleted him. I have more evidence and the Police will be around later!
  10. Thanks Dave, it's a 22" widescreen :mrhappy: The clock is my travel alarm.
  11. That's a nice idea Sam, perhaps if anyone wants to take you up on it then they could send you a PM requesting details for their leg in advance, that will give you time to prepare it? I know a lot of people that use aircraft with FMC may well do it themselves so I don't want you to go though all that trouble for nothing :mrhappy: Cheers
  12. :star Perhaps who ever flies the leg from Tampa to KW in the challenge could do a flypast tribute :star
  13. Nice tribute John, that sure is odd timing that you should run into the Blue now, excellent shots. Do I take you are back in the land of broadband? As these pictures would take ages on dial up. @Sam I remember that shot, very impressive.
  14. Sorry to see Boo go, he was probably scared of Bruisy and his huge biceps! :rofl You can edit this one out too if you want too, you have the power :mrhappy:
  15. He he, I didn't say I believed it. But sometimes they say we are going to get unseasonal temperatures like recently, giving you the exact temperature and they are usually spot on. How does that work then? Lets have have a review in the Autumn and see what really happened :mrhappy:
  16. Thanks Martin, I see you have your Mutley's Hangar award certificate proudly hidden behind Boo! I will have to send you a picture of our bunch of Boo's! One has even got a Christmas sweater on :mrhappy: It's amazing what these modern printers will churn out, I made that tenner in under a minute :rofl Cheers
  17. Thanks John for your comments and understanding :mrhappy: The challenge is evolving as we go, learning from previous pitfalls so it should be better and more organised soon. I certainly agree about Europe, perhaps we wil give it a bit more attention on the way back. Cheers
  18. This is going to be good, I just know it :mrhappy: Cheers
  19. Don't worry Phil, it's not official yet but I will be asking for multiple bids from pilots for the whole section. You will be able to bid for as many legs as you like in order of preference. If there's a tie then first come first served. When I make the post there will be a day before I start accepting bids and a time from when the PM's will be accepted. If I were to get a bid for all legs at the second the bids commence then obviously my judgement and decisions will prevail and I will make it as fair as possible. I hope that's not too complicated! Cheers EDIT: And I will make a post
  20. I don't understand Phil? busy in what way?, we will need you here bud! I'm not taking bids yet, the allocation will be much fairer just watch out for the new rules post in a few days and the departure board. Cheers
  21. Cheers Dave, I think a new set of rules is evolving here :mrhappy: Let's see what the others think. Once they are generally agreed I will make a post with the new rules to make it clearer.
  22. Dave, You are reading my mind there buddy, I thought I would make the departure board a locked topic too and as you say the CCC would be for questions (Have you been reading my notes? :mrhappy: ) First come first served would have to be the way to go, but maybe if you were to send me in, lets say 3 legs or however many you want to fly, in order of preference then I could allocate the flights on importance to the pilot bidding?
  23. Sam you only have to fly the routes that suit you, let me worry about pointless miles :mrhappy:
  24. About route allocation. Here's an idea, what about mailing or PM me with your preferred route. That way I can keep track of the bids better and I would update the departure board with whose flying what (when I post it). That way there will be no conflict of interests. I just want to make it fairer and easier for all :mrhappy: Comments?
