Quite right John, but now we're heading in the right direction we will be with you soon enough  By the way, here is an updated map as shown on my home page  Cheers -
Well I managed to pick up this disused Conc up for a pack of Gauloises and a rendition of La Marseillaise :mrhappy: Slapped a bit of paint on her to ready her for a flight. She's still got the French reg but that will change once I get her re-registered. The Red Arrows, yet to star in the Challenge What a b.e.a.u.tiful bird Powering up with the burners on full. On our way to a secret destination. Keep up the good work chaps! Cheers

Couple of great vids Mullet, I don't watch YouTube enough. I agree those comments are laughable, really made by people who just shouldn't bother if all they want to do is cry "Fake" Cheers

By the way is it Valley AB ??

Hi David, That does look pretty grim, once we guess where it is I can compare my view. I would suggest you post a query in the Flight Simulation forum and see what is suggested as my knowledge is pretty basic in these areas but I will try to help too. I don't think you will find the forum too technical :mrhappy: Greetings from sunny Hampshire!

Ok do we have a firm offer from anyone to fly leg 15? 2 hours (Midday BST) before the deadline, then I will take it on. Cheers

Hi Phil, We would want someone to fly from Calcutta VECC to somewhere like Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Japan, just so long as it's East of India. The choice of any of these or a suggestion of your own okayed by me or Dave would be fine. The aircraft again would be your choice maybe something we've not seen yet or any Heavy If you offer is accepted you will be notified so by me or Dave, you then make the flight and make a new post of your adventure. (Not forgetting the baton of course!) So what do you think, do you want to make a bid? Cheers
-
Well done Dave for completing leg 15 and taking the baton from Lukla to Kolkata / Calcutta Airport, India (VECC). We can get anything out of here as we have a 11,899ft runway to play with so it's a chance for the senior pilots to join in. So if anyone fancies a trip please log your interest here. If there's nothing posted by 12.00 BST tomorrow Easter Monday I will take her on again (Don't forget it's double pay on a public holiday :mrhappy: ) Cheers
-
Well done on a successful leg Dave. Some lovely shots in there, I think it's quite fun dodging around the mountains! I would like to see that SAAB land at Lukla :mrhappy: I like the 340B model did you get it? Cheers PS gang, don't forget to check the CCC for updates.

Yes I did Craig, I'm surprised no-one has picked up on this before :mrhappy:

Sam, Thanks for the suggestion, I was thinking of doing an update article for the website but what I may do for the time being is to publish a map of where we have been. Thanks again for the suggestion.. Mut -
Cheers Dave, glad I could help

I quite like this one. I feel some more coming on! Cheers

Mulletman's starting shot from his ATWC post, real photo's are not allowed Fred! Another picture perfect shot from Vacs007 (Getting to be a habit Wayne ) And finally, Phil's repainted A319 in PACEL Air livery. ] Well done again on a great week of shots. As usual there were so many to choose from! Cheers

Hi John, I have noticed this too, it mostly happens to me when I am posting a reply. Google Adsense which I believe the host uses is supposed to only show ads that are relevant to the content so I'm not sure why it thinks we are looking for Russian site

Hi Guys, Apologies for the site being down it is back up again this morning, I logged a support call at 20.00 BST yesterday not expecting a response until Tuesday, but it looks as though they have re-booted the server. You may have seen from previous posts I have trouble before, it's only been a problem since they moved my site to a new high speed "more reliable" server. I was having a good look around for other hosts last night but came to the conclusion that it's better the devil you know. Hopefully by now everyone has the shortcut straight to the forum which is on a different host.

Sorry Fred I wasn't paying attention, I was so just so happy to land :blush Dave, I am so pleased we got it working, I know how frustrating it can be. Your choice is fine Zia was only an option, looking forward to your shots have a great flight. Cheers -
Thanks John, much appreciated. It was so frustrating seeing them on the news and really knowing what was going on behind the scenes so it was great news for Easter to have them home safely. Regards
-
Cheers David, that confirms it :!:
