  1. Thanks John I enjoyed it, I don't think you said anything confusing in retrospect but I got a but confused by the longitude calculation and I think I got a bit hung up on that :mrhappy: .. Though until the narrowing of the latitude range it would have been very difficult! I will think of one today and post it later, Cheers
  2. Ho simi, if there's a location in the Americas you would like to fly to add it to the post I made tonight about the next region :mrhappy:
  3. That's odd John, I had already scoured Scotland hence the EG comment, I had come across Perth (Scone) ICAO EGPT? and as usual when looking for airports in this quiz I am not on my FS PC so cannot confirm it visually. I can't see any others that fit the bill if I am wrong perhaps David will find it :mrhappy:
  4. NOTAM! Hi gang It's time I started getting permissions for the next region, this will be North, Central and South America. So we are back mainly over land, I think this could be one of the most interesting sections spanning again both hemispheres and more airports than you can shake a stick at. I reckon we could be looking at 12 - 15 legs. (Could be more the way it's going!) This is not a definitive list but so far I have already had suggestions for- North KLAX - Los Angeles Airport (Likely to be the first leg) KLAS - Las Vegas - McCarran Intl KORD - Chicago - O'Hare KCGX - Chicago
  5. John I assume then this is in the western hemisphere? So does the ICAO begin with CY or EG ? Cheers
  6. Right John, I'm on the case at last :mrhappy:
  7. Hi Simi, Thanks for the kind comments, ou always manage to pick a great aircraft, I like props as much as anything else :mrhappy: Cheers
  8. A very interesting read Joe, I am not going to air my opinions on Mark Silcock but it does make you wonder.
  9. Lovely shot Sam, That sure is a busy runway! and a fine 707 model there. Cheers
  10. Thanks John, sorry for the delay :sadblinky:
  11. Fantastic, thanks simi for getting us to the land of Oz in such a stylish fashion! Hopefully Joe is has his flight plan logged and is preparing for the next leg
  12. Nice one Fred, Ill have a look tonight.

    Slow Down!

Hi Mart, Unfortunately once in a while the forum does slow down but generally it's pretty good for a "Free" host. We did have an occasion previously where it was almost unusable for a day but it gave me a nice break! If it dissuades you from being unkind to your canine friend then that's good Cheers
  14. Fred, One, sorry two, of my favourite airport sceneries and an aircraft to match. Really enjoyed these shots and like you I took off from that runway, they opened it specially! That's a lot of flying you've been doing this past weekend. I expect you need a week at College to get over it Cheers
  15. An epic journey and an epic post Fred, as usual enjoyed the edits, I wonder if you had as many PMDG cans in the cockpit as I had Red Bull cans after my flight in the Phoon It seems to me that everything in Hong Kong is a tight fit, even the parking! I didn't realise the Queen was so well modelled with the variable wing flex, I guess we get what we pay for! Thanks again for posting, Cheers
  16. Ah Joe that sounds like a fantastic experience and you got to fly too! Cheers, like the blog btw
  17. Don't worry Sam he's just grooming me
  18. Hi Phil, As you will see dgor has this flight but I will put you on first reserve in case dgor cannot make the leg. There's definitely nothing else up in the next couple of days they are all taken. Thanks for the great offer, it's been really difficult to fit everyone in as you can appreciate. What I have had to do now is accept bids for future legs in the present region and update this post which is a departure board for the Pacific region. If anyone cannot make a flight then I put out an emergency request by mail to the first reserve or by a general post. We have had to change the
  19. Hi John, Thanks for the extra clues, I've not had a chance yet to have a look so will try to soon Cheers
  20. Thanks Dave I have entered your bid on the departure board. All legs have now a bid, of course we may run into trouble and may need someone to step in watch this space.
  21.  Saves writing a reply! See ya Mart
  22. Humour him Dave, it really does help. Next week they are introducing electric shock treatment, I know exactly where the electrodes should go Cheers
  23. Love that aircraft simi and some fantastic shots too. Can't wait to see the remainder once you've landed, I guess Joe Ellwood better start warming up for the next leg! Cheers
  24. Theo, I am using Active Sky 6.5 with some textures blagged from Flight Environment. (FS9 Version)
