  1. Here is this weeks (25th - 31st March) top 3 Chris E in his 2 parter flight Mehrabad to Tel Aviv Simi's B&W portrait of the JU52 More B&W posts in this thread pleeze! And my wing shot from the glorious return of MetJet 744 ..Well I'm allowed to vote for my self :mrhappy: And now......... For the first time on Mutley's................ The screenshot of the month................. Goes to...... (Are you annoyed with scrolling yet?) Daves twilight shot of the 736 over Austria ! Well done Dave you are the March champ :mrhappy: Honourable mention goes to Craig Davo'
  2. Well they don't come more random than this... I've spent a lot of time this weekend writing reviews, re-doing web pages and re-installing some FS9 software. On this point Captain Sim were very good in helping me get my Legendary 727 back into the air. Also had to re-install Lukla for my impending flight of doom! I'll shut up now, here they are, FS9 & FSX aircraft old and new. Budapest, 736 ready to taxi to the active. That sun goes down quickly! FSX light bloom in all it's glory. To celebrate the return of the 727 Piedmont taking off from Paris CDG. A legendary Qantas repa
  3. Thanks for the report Sam it was very entertaining even without the shots which were top notch too :mrhappy: By the way you kept being reminded that it was 27L (one of my favourite approaches too) I thought you were going to bounce all the way down the runway. The FO obviously needs a bit more practice but was obviously under pressure with all that traffic. (I expect the crew made him suffer!) Looking forward to the next flight. Cheers
  4. You have fun too Dave :!: Cheers
  5. :good Well Fred you certainly didn't disappoint. I just cannot fault the quality in any aspect of this post. Scenery, aircraft and factual content it's got it all. :star :star :star :star :star from me. Cheers btw, your hair IS short now.
  6. I just know this will be worth the wait Fred  As far as the next couple of legs go I was hoping someone would suggest Lukla as I have the scenery (as you do Fred) So the next leg (12) will be from Mumbai/Bombay/VABB to Kathmandu VNKT in Nepal we need a volunteer for this flight please. I will take on leg 13 :???: Kathmandu VNKT to Zia International VGZR Bangladesh VIA Lukla VNLK (VNL2 for Aerosoft addon) so I get to make this really scary landing then onto Zia another 303 miles, flight to be done in FS9 in an aircraft that probably shouldn't (couldn't) land at Lukla :??
  7. Hi John, It's all done with mirrors, "wing mirrors"!! Simi, I love your shots and the scratches really help to give it the lived in look! Well done. Cheers
  8. Thanks Fred, obviously copied from you  I tried a graduated defocus of the panel Cheers
  9. Thanks Fred I was just looking at the news page and mailed Dave (and You!)
  10. One from me to get you started. Cheers
  11. Well done Dave, got the feeling for the whole flight, and the pictures were excellent. I think you were lucky not to get a bird strike in the first shot with all that "squak"ing going on  But I have to agree with John, some peanuts and a GandT would have been nice! Cheers
  12. Here's one for all you editing fans. B&W shots can really give a screenshot an edge. Post your B&W flight sim shots here and let's see who can post the most evocative shot!

  14. Thanks for letting me know Joe, I look forward to doing it.
  15. Fred has mailed me as he was having the same problem as me with the forum although it looks to be fixed now! So check back at the weekend to see his flight.
  16. Have a great time in Miami Chris
  17. Well done to Chris on completing leg 10. We are now at Tel Aviv and I would like now to continue East. We have ear marked Mulletman to make a flight from LLBG but Fred advised he cannot make a flight until Saturday at the earliest. This is fine, a short break is no problem so long as Fred can commit to this flight on Saturday and can let me know as soon as possible. If not, we will be seeking a pilot to take on the baton from Tel Aviv. In future I will be controlling the challenge form this post so we all have a central reference point. If anyone is unsure on the next availability of a f
  18. Excellent flight Chris, well done on completing this leg. As far as the screenshots go, I think a mixture of the two sets make perfect post along with the commentary that goes with it. About the shot quality as per the question you posted on JF, I repeat my answer here- 2 things, you would probably get a better view if you hit Alt+Enter on your keyboard to make it run full screen. The jagged edges are normally caused by not having Anti-aliasing switched on preferably on your graphics card control panel or less favoured by switching it on in the display options within FS9. This
  19. Dave, Your shots just get better and better, would you mind posting a few under my name  I'm so pleased you have got you flight sim up and running properly again. Cheers Joe, aka Mutley who cannot post under his own name at the moment :???:
  20. Thanks David glad you like it. I think I am going to do a new repaint for the new Mutley's John, the Farnborough scenery really is top notch the show scenery is extremely detailed, what you are seeing there is he C-17 Globemaster. I will make a post soon with a lot more detail. Cheers, Joe, aka Mutley who cannot post under his own name at the moment
