  1. Avro Anson 1, Estonian Air Force, Tallinn 1936-40. Airfix 1/72 scale, kit, decals by Kora, scratch made aerials and horn balance. Done as part of an Inter -War Group build project on Facebook. Thanks for viewing
  2. Looks like a good spot to see out the winter, stock up with food and fuel and look out for bears!
  3. "Skipper, I don't care big a Star Wars fan you are, you CANNOT turn this aircraft into a Death Star!"
  4. I don't think hitting that Condor was a good idea !
  5. "757 Captain to tower, we've shortened the aircraft so that it will fit onto a 146 jetty"
  6. A worrying development, but many of the little regional airports are far too easy to gain access to. Bournemouth being a case in point, the road around the back of the airport often has the one security box unmanned and it is very easy to get airside on that airport. I have done so on several occasions when plane spotting. When the original museum was in use, there was only a two bar wooden fence between the picnic area and a live taxiway! I hate to say it but I think the next air related terror attack will indeed be from a regional airfield.
  7. JBK do a Buffalo configured aircraft and it still stands the tests of time.
  8. Crackin' studies of a fine aircraft.
  9. I'm guessing you're a coffee aficionado, same as me. We always have our percolator on the go, can't drink instant stuff though, .....at least not unless i'm close to a loo!
  10. Well caught Matt, the Hunter looks great from any angle.
  11. Superb! Good to see the big cat strutting her stuff.
  12. Locomotion, an early steam engine and a song by Little Eva .
  13. Certainly a complicated beast, love the bit at the end, shut down and have some tea! Sounds like a good plan to me.
  14. Absolutely love these old aircraft. Tough go anywhere birds that can carry a useful load.
  15. Gamecock, (a mid sized bird and a British fighter from the 1920s.)
  16. If one member of a synchronised swimming team drowns.....do the rest have to as well?
