I ended up getting a new Keyboard and Mouse, didn't cost a lot, so hopefully this should suffice for a while.

Not one single event of course but a whole string of them, and every year they seem to be getting worse. Hurricane systems tend to develop off the west coast of Africa and pick up strength and power as well as a whole lot of water. They then travel NW across the Atlantic into the Caribbean area where the warm temps cause them to get even bigger. With the seas gradually warming up this combination of wind and water is becoming ever more powerful. If only we could. I know they can seed clouds to produce rain, but not yet disperse winds. Maybe if they were to line up all the politicians, presidents, dictators etc on the coast, the rise of all that hot air may make it disperse.

Stay safe guys, we have friends over there who have just been evacuated to a nearby hospital. It's very worrying. If anyone wants further proof that climate change and global warming is happening I think this is the ultimate proof. and things stand to get a lot worse over time. Lockheed WP-3D operating out of Grantley Adams, Barbados. Got airborne easily enough, but then during the flight the winds picked up. 140, gusting 160 kts. challenging to say the least! Returning to the island a while later was forced to crab into the airport at almost 90 deg to the line of flight and then kick her ound at the last second whilist still keeping the power on as the wind was coming directly across the single runway. Hi folks, my pc keyboard has thrown a hissy fit and died on me so unable to post stuff except from my phone. Will try and get hold of my tech guy during the week and get a replacement. Picked up this "Standard" DC-8 in the JF sale recently. Beautiful aircraft really well executed. The Air Jamaica livery really suits it. This flight took us from Barbados to Jamaica. Thank you for flying with Air Jamaica. you may exit the terminal via the ganga stall and sound system!
