Glad you're appreciating my little story, I really enjoy flying it and writing about it, as this is part of the history of the town I live in. I have other plans for next year and new adventures ! Didn't buy the WOFF extension yet as I find the 1.26 being already very good and not interested by 2/3 of what is in 2.0. May be one day when it's on sale ? Fair winds and following seas !

Yes all is great ! Enjoying my recent retirement (flying a lot more...) still flying my WOFF own campaigns in the background, having a blast at my Aeropostale adventure (you can have a look in the Member's blogs above if interested) and about to fly again in space with Elite Dangerous (Elite was the first game I played back in the 80s on my C64 with the 1541 disquette reader which was twice as heavy as the central unit !)

For some reason I can access everywhere as usual, but when I want to reply in the Air Hauler thread where I often post, it says I can't start a new topic and I can't reply to a thread. Any idea ? PS : I swear I won't say anything bad about cricket, plse give me my access again...

I used to fly sophisticated jets for many years and enjoyed all the Thrustmaster HOTAS systems I had ( F16 FLCS and Cougar ) Nowadays I only fly general aviation props in FSX , gliders in Condor , WW1 crates in Rise of Flight and Wings over Flanders Fields, and from time to time WW2 warbirds in IL2 1946. (And soon some spaceships in Elite Dangerous) Faithfull Thrustmaster customer I now use a T 16000 M (+ Saitek quadrant, trim wheel and rudder pedals.) Like the Warthog it uses Hall effect and therefore is very precise and no more potentiometer wear.

Welcome to the rain forest ! Nice pics !

My canadian company has bases in Sitka (PASI) Yakutat (PAYA) and Cordova-Smith (PACV), operating C185F amphibians and tundras. I like the Sitka bay which I find beautiful. The runway is built on the water and there is a small island on the approach path from the North. Here is a picture with my Goose : PACV itself is nothing great but for inland flights you can go up and down the Copper river, which is a beautiful sight :

For the time being I think I have invested enough time and money in my FSX install ( still adding freeware scenery when needed and a couple of payware planes ). For the kind of low and slow flying I'm doing, I'm quite happy with my FSX DX9 running smoothly at 30 fps. I don't use photo scenery either. Looking at what I read on several forums, I start thinking I'm too easily happy ? I really don't know where I will go next, I have been tempted by trying X Plane 10, but also might wait until P3D comes out with a 64 bits version ( getting kind of lazy, having to learn a totally new world wit
