I agree, however it has to be a lot better for mankind than using shells with depleted uranium You are absolutely right, except that the use of new weapons doens't necessarly mean we're going to stop using the good old ones. I am nevertheless very confident in the ability of human beings to find ways to shorten their already very short presence on this planet ! Which, overall, could be seen as rather good news for the said planet.

Not really sure that developping new weapons is a progress for mankind...

Wow ! Beautiful pics for a nice flight ! At first I thought it was around Lago de Orta (spent a nice week there irl), but there's no island in the middle ... Lago d'Iseo ?

Let's keep the good side, it's a beautiful landscape - and I loved my real trip to the Isle of Skye and Scotland in general (just flew a couple of Air Hauler flights from Inverness and back (see screenshots) Only wanted to draw your attention there might be a problem with the video capture because it was really jerky. I try to be constructive... (most of the time )

The BN2 Islander, a plane best forgotten?
Corsaire31 replied to britfrog's topic in Real World Aviation
Great one ! As a regular BN2 Islander flyer (and former regular passenger, luckily for short 35 mns flights), I must admit that the possibility of reducing the engine sound to 17-18 in FSX settings allows me to sometimes understand what the ATC is telling me... -
Very good looking indeed, but I wouldn't fly like this, it is a slideshow... Does it come from the video recording eating performance ?

Old sailors used to put a gold coin under the mast, don't know how it goes with cars... I have a good memory of Fiat, had a Fiat Uno in the 90s which kept running for many years. Of course there was no computer inside or electronics, which might explain why I didn't have any problems... And living in Nice I used to take it often to Italy, so it probably liked it !

It's been going faster than I thought, I have now done the 35 flight plans in Plan G, I have found all the freeware sceneries for the airfields where I plan to land ( although I could have to land on some I didn't plan following weather and VFR navigation... ). I have selected the three planes I will be using : ( considering that although it will be all VFR, it will be flown today and not in the 1920s - but I looked for old designs ) and made some training flights. [ - a nice freeware tri motor Junkers JU 52 for the Europe/ Africa part ( I wanted to try something else than the usua
