Rob, does the VC windscreen go blue+opaque when it rains? You may have the FS9-->FSX-->FSX(A) problem, which has been reported here: http://208.109.106.108/forum/pop_printer_friendly.asp?TOPIC_ID=9769" Mind you, with internal views like that, who'd be looking out the window... :th_smiles73: Hwyl - Dai.

You tube-liner boys are all the same - any chance to take the controls and you're there! Cheers - Dai.

Unexpected, that, Alan - thanks for sharing! Cheers - Dai.

Result! Thanks, Chuck! Cheers - Dai.

I've grown to like the Dove - she handles well and predictably and has a low stall speed, which is useful in Colombia, nes pas? Looking forward to my next Leg - should be this weekend if I can finish 'playing' with the Viscount - another bl**dy lady! Cheers - Dai.

Do you use the gyro-pilot's altitude hold? I've found that very good... :th_smiles73: Cheers - Dai. P.S. Thanks for the screenshots - reminded me of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mntt05KNA0Q

Great 'plane - great post, Chuck! That VC looks good - nice, clear instrumentation - just what is required. Exterior model more than adequate for freeware and plenty of scope for repaints. Bet you'll enjoy doing the Review, eh?!? Excellent set of screen shots - thanks for sharing. Cheers - Dai.

Ah - son of son of Lancaster, with contra-rotating props. Looks good - I wonder if Chuck has some screen shots to show us... :th_smiles73: Cheers - Dai.

Well done Rob. Cheers - Dai.

Now, if all the downloaded JF Hurricanes were laid wing-tip to wing-tip, they'd stretch from EGHI to - where, I wonder? Cheers - Dai.

My steel toe caps always gets them worried on Eurostar - when the thing goes ding, I tell 'em I've got metal knees! Which, from the way I walk, they guess, anyway - so the frisking is brief! Santé - Dai.

Take it easy, mate - timings right for Christmas, though! Cheers - Dai. -
Excellent post-card, Chuck - great idea, mate! Your time should keep us in the running... Well done. Rob's up next - we're expecting the best from you!! Cheers - Dai.

Pics of doll's house, please - our grandaughter Megan might need one for Christmas - know what I mean?!? Ciao - Dai.

And I didn't think that "droll" was in the Oz vocabulary - thanks, Andrew! Hwyl - Dai.

Team Mutley - GARSA Leg 2 Completed. Again, another 'surprise' at the end of Leg 2 - this time a descent from 12500 ft, coming over the final ridge just above the foliage, to the airfield, 6000 ft below in, yes, you guessed, another quarry! Brilliant choice, Andrew! Here we are coming over the ridge with SKLA below: Base leg, after dropping 4500 ft: Finding the quarry entrance on final: "Will you go down?!?" - trying to lose height over the runway: And, lastly, all of us cooling off - her Ladyship included - with a beer from the fridge: Team Mutley Leg 2 Flight Time = 46.57 m

Team Mutley Latest... Leg 1 completed - Bogota SKBO to Ocana SKOC - Flight Time in DH104 Dove = 107.03 minutes. Fairly easy flight, except for the landing at SKOC, which came as a bit of a surprise! Here we are on the base leg: And then the last turn to line up: Thank Heavens the Dove behaves herself - like a true Lady! Leg 2 is under way - will post some shots when completed... Cheers - Dai.

10 out of 10 for the V35 and the same mark to you, Andrew - thanks for sharing! Cheers - Dai.

Got to hand it to you, Mark - you are a stickler for absolutely correct replication! I've not noticed that 'crease' before, but it certainly is there... Which reminds me, you were unhappy about the exterior of the up-coming JF Viscount. Could you expand, please?!? Cheers - Dai.

Thanks, Rob - that's quite a compliment! Not having landed a heavy at NTO - where the cross-wind and shear is notorious, so I'm told - I think the Korean crew did well to avoid what could have been a disastrous touch-down. Like Chuck says, any landing you walk away from is a good one! Hope they checked the tyre pressures before heading back to Seoul... Hwyl - Dai.

Well spotted, Longue Carabine!! Cheers - Dai.

Excellent work, Kieran - Thanks for uploading! I've also uploaded my IFR version for GARSA, with some possible VOR/ADF waypoints. Times are for Dove at 110 KIAS. @ Andrew - thanks for changing my DC-3 Test Flight Time - 140 knots is much more realistic for me! :th_smiles73: Cheers - Dai.

Guess I'll have to try and get to Lelystad, then... Proost - Dai. -
Looks like this facility has gone, but you can now control the period over which you can view New Posts - the shorter this period, the lower number of New Posts you'll see. Well, I think that's the way it goes... Cheers - Dai.
