ddavid replied to mutley's topic in News and Press Releases
Terrific Review, Mr K! You've covered all the main points - and more - excellent. In fact, you make DG's Hunter sound too good to be Free-ware! Look forward to more Reviews from you, eh?!? Hwyl - Dai. -
How's about... Ariba-Ariba - Dai.

Great safari shots, Tim - that 'trench' is awesome: did you find the Death-Star?!? Thanks for sharing, mate! Cheers - Dai. :coo:

Great Mission, Brett - here are some screen shots... Climbing after accident emergency call-out: Accident L.Z. - about to take off after accident victim loaded: Accident patient off-loaded at hospital: Detour to scare off grizzly from camp-site: Back at base - welcome home by management: Mission complete with Rewards: All in all an exciting and entertaining Mission! The dialogs are really good - did you record them yourself? The landing zones were all well defined - loved the blood-stained clothes on the accident victim! Look forward to your next Mission - thanks for sharing

SP1 & SP2 question
ddavid replied to Tim Totten's topic in Flight Simulator X (FSX) / FSX Steam Edition
Hi Tim Here's my 10 cents: 1. Buy a CD/DVD drive, uninstall FSX, re-install FSX, install SP1 and then install SP2. Then re-install all your add-on scenery/aircraft. Or: 2. Install Sp1, then Sp2, onto your existing FSX set up. Without the CD/DVD drive, I'm not sure that you can re-install FSX. Unless you made an exact copy of the installation files (.exe's etc) onto the HDD, you won't be able to re-install FSX. All you can do, I think, is copy in an old version of your FSX set up - the one that you saved to disk. Maybe there are other options, but, for me, I'd shell out for a new CD/DVD dr -
Do you ever sleep. Oh Wise One?!? Ciao - Dai.

At $55 she's got to be good, eh? Can you post some screeshots... Cheers - Dai.
-
Good start, 'papeg' - Welcome to the Hangar! Look forward to your clues... Cheers - Dai.
-
If you 'untick' the scenery item from the list, then it won'get loaded. No need to have UK scenery 'running' in FSX if you're in Oz. Hope that helps... Hwyl - Dai.

Aah, John, you've let the cat outta the bag! Now everyone'll know who Tim is... And Welcome Back, Gunk - long time no speak! Ciao - Dai.

Quite a dilemma, eh? But then, in the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is king - nes pas? Cheers - Dai.

Most of us remember GTA, Son-of-GTA, Mother-In-Law-of-GTA, etc so here's the chance to shine - yet again (No escape! - Ed). An easy one, to start with: And thanks to Captain Sim for making it possible! Cheers - Dai. P.S. A correct guess means you set the next challenge...

Aye, Lad - Ferrybridge 'C' - t'were biggest power station in t' Europe in t' 1966. Mind you, we 'ad to rebuild bl**dy coolin' towers that fell dahn in t' wind, like! Mmmm - those were't days when you could go dahn street, 'ave a skinful, 'ave a big plate o' pie 'n peas and still 'ave change from 'alf-a-crahn, like... Hwyl - Dai.

Dang nabbit, Jan - I should have counted the bl**dy windows! Excellent paintjobs - ten out of ten, mate! Hwyl - Dai.
-
Just guessing, Jan, but does the name Tony Madge come into this? The Captain Sim B707's are 300 series, so that rules the 707-123B out, but HJG has this particular model for Transavia ... Good ruse, keep us on our toes, eh?!? Hwyl - Dai.

My bad - Aberthaw's only got 1 chimney! Well spotted... Cheers - Dai.
