Shame, you didn't show the jangly under-carriage being stowed after take off - maybe next time? Nice shots, Rob - lovely day, eh? Cheers - Dai.
-
Enjoyed the shots, Joe - yours was a tidier landing than mine - I scared the sh*t outta the Bunnies! Which reminds me, I must post my set... :icon_blahblah: Cheers - Dai.

Less than a minute out over all that water is pretty good, John - well done, mate! Cheers - Dai.

Team-Mutley, current World Air Rally Grand Prix Champions, are completing their preparations for MEBAR 2011. Their new aircraft, a Shorts SD3-30, has been carefully fitted out and given a brand new livery. Here she is over the Hampshire countryside: The team has 3 members who represented the Hangar at the Great Australian Air Rally, earlier this year. They have been joined by the GAAR organiser, Andrew Godden, who has also played a vital role in organising MEBAR. The other 3 team members are John Allard, Kieran Marshall and Dai Williams. Each will fly the Test Flight, and their flight time

Like John said, you must have been busy during the landing... Thanks for sharing. Cheers - Dai.

Best yet, Mr K!! Just love the pax - where are they from - Broadmoor? No offence, mate, but they look like an old glam rock group, just re-forming... Plan-G was a nice touch - but isn't that cheating? Never mind, great contribution. Cheers - Dai.
-
I guess these are the type of 'Bills' we're happy to receive! Welcome to the Hangar, guys! Cheers - Dai.
-
Ouch - change display to B&W! But thanks for sharing... Cheers - Dai.
-
Nice shots, Steve - thanks for sharing. BTW, have you completed the Rally? Cheers - Dai. :

UK2000 demo scenery installed - and here's the new Team Mutley plane, fresh from the paintshop: Looks like we'll have more than 100 entries - YES! :icon_thumbup: Well done, Boss! Cheers - Dai.
-
Muchas gracias, amigo! Descargar ahora... Salud de pesetas! - Dai.
-
Hi Alex - well done, you've cracked the screen shot mechanism! Nice pics, too. I see you're using Manfred Jahn's C47, with the default M.S. panels. You might consider looking at Norman Hancock's 2-D panel over at DC-3 Airways - it makes IFR a lot easier. Good Luck with the MEBAR... Cheers - Dai.
-
Thanks, Joe - can't find the UK2000 EGHI, though! :001_th_smiles48: Looking forward to seeing your shots, Alex... Cheers - Dai.

So, here we go with the DC-3 at the start of MEBAR. Lined up and ready to roll: A bit of a detour, really, but I couldn't resist flying past the Needles: Bournemouth International ahead: That's Lulworth Cove, below: Making the turn at Portland Bill: Finding Alderney wasn't too difficult - here we are on final approach: As usual, the cross-wind had us a bit off balance, but we did manage to stop: Now for a nice orange juice and a light salad - I'm on a diet! Next Leg is to The Scillys - see you there! Cheers - Dai.
-
Thanks very much, John - these will save me a bit of time when I most need it! Should be able to pull up the old Dizzie in 1900' at Eaglescott,eh? Cheers - Dai.

Vertical Studios announce launch of second mission
ddavid replied to mutley's topic in News and Press Releases
Vertical Studios' "Mountain Flying in Switzerland", a 3 stage mission set, was excellent and this new Colorado Camping mission is a snip at only $1.99! I'll definitely get it after MEBAR... Cheers - Dai. -
G'day, Remington! Welcome back - and thanks for completing the ATWCIII - now we can relax! Cheers - Dai.
-
Must be our shared broadband connection - tried again this a.m. and zip downloaded and un-zipped O.K. Thanks, Andrew! Will install later today and have a couple of circuits. A quick look at David Molyneaux's Performance Notes shows the Auster to be a good possibility. Maybe we should all have a try? Cheers - Dai.
-
Kieran - have tried to download the Britsims Auster A2/45 several times (more than 5!!), but no success. The file downloads but cannot be unzipped - is there another source of the zip? Or, choose another Auster model! Dave Garwood's, maybe? Cheers - Dai.
-
Like I said, I'm easy - and it'll be an opportunity to try a new aircraft as I tend to get stuck with a favo(u)rite... What do you think, John - Dragon or Auster - or something (completely) different? We can then get on amd do the Test Flight. Cheers - Dai.
-
Thanks Andrew - that means Team Mutley is Go for MEBAR 2011! As Kieran says, I don't think the sim base (FS9/FSX) matters, but we've got to select an aircraft. As long as it's available, I'm happy to accept your views, Lads! Cheers - Dai.
-
Hope you've got enough fuel for the alternative!! Nice shots, by the way - thanks for sharing. Cheers - Dai.
-
And a special repaint for XS770, too! Nice one - and thanks for joining us! Cheers - Dai.
-
Was this a reconnaissance flight, Rob? I think the Boss would like this twin - he's into hounds!! Cheers - Dai.
-
Thanks John and Kieran! And thanks Rob - if no-one puts up for the team (only 4 members needed), then we'll call in your offer! On the aircraft front, it'd better be default or popular freeware, I guess. Any suggestions... We've got a week to decide and each fly the Test Flight - I'm fairly relaxed (There's a first time for everything! - Ed). Cheers - Dai.
