Thanks for getting back Jess, I use a cost index of 30 as per a tutorial I have for this Bus. You may have something regarding the flaps, I do remember getting airborne and setting up for the climb, then realising I had the flaps extended still, so that sounds like the culprit. The overspeed was not really an issue, I used the speedbrake to keep under the red and came in with manual throttle, landing was fine and very controlled. I seem be to be OK with this one now, can set it up and go through most phases without the need to check my list, pactice, practic

yeah it certainly makes things busy but down side its not available everywhere, however XP11 is supposed to have done something about this and ground handling, we shall see....

ok thanks for the replies, I have since done 2 short flights, one from Bristol and one from Nice, this was where the original was that had the issue. I have followed the instructions regarding the Cost Index and have topped up the fuel, both times all was ok so I am guessing it was operators error (ME!!!!).....I did have an overspeed issue but that seems common acording to XP forums....I have also updated to 2.7 which seems to be the latest version....I am guessing I was rushing through the prep and not inputing the correct figures once again thank you for all your suggestions....

Just to make it clear... the ipper speed limit on pfd sets to 240 the whole flight.. would it be a cost index error by me or fuel input....any help be appreciated...

Just a few shots showing off the Plugin called XLIFE, this gives you traffic but only currently at about 90 airports, you can use it at others but I believe you have to create ground routes....bit over my head I think but for $19.99 it improves the airports I have been using..... not switch on.. after about 20 seconds.... the plugins radar..... Ai arriving now.... Ai pushback.... I am loading up, the white writing is the tower comings and goings for the airport, this can be turned off... no I am airbourne and the radar is zoomed

I am currently having an issue where after takeoff the aircraft is showing that I can only get to about 240kts before it gets to the red overspeed line and that will then disconnect the AP, I have gone through all my initial inputs setting up and all seems ok. Currently having to manage the AC at about 235kts to avoid overspeed. This is the JARDESIGNS A320, XP 10.51, checked on JARS web but cant see this issue, all other things are running as expected, however when Autothruster gets above FL100 and wants to power on it cant because of the overspeed warning. looking at my install I think I am still on 3.2 since I had that PC failure the other week and installed from the last backup I had....have to investigate what I need to update....cheers...

Just a little flight from LFMN to the Isle of Ibiza, my usual A320, this time in the lowcost colors of EasyJet.......had an issue with this one on the climb, was climbing really slowly then I remember not setting the weights up correctly, duh what a fool ....anyway aside from that it was an uneventful flight apart from a little turbulance at the start of the descent....... busy prepping the plane and loading the PAX... busy busy....... taxi out, sun going down now..... already for the off on 04L...... bit overcast turning to get on the course.....

I have to agree with you Jim...I have one AC that wont work with P3Dv3 and I am fine with that.. I will still use P3D as there are things about it I really like.. however I will upgrade for the 2nd time to XP11 as I am enjoying my Xplaning.. for me its not either/or question..I like both and will run both but starting over in a brand new sim where my addons and posibly satieks wouldnt work..its a no from me.. you only have to look at the shots on here from across all sims to see there is still a lot of great stuff going on.. and dont be fooled into thinking 64bit cures everything because it do

I will mostly be using XP11 in 2017. I still have P3Dv3 installed mainly for AH2 and I wont bother with a 64bit upgrade as I believe my addons probably wont work. I did tinker with DTGs flightschool but wasnt overly impressed.
