PanzerFodders Flying Circus...Announcements Board...
Sabre replied to PanzerFodder's topic in Air Hauler
Nice job on the fleet expansion matey. Looks good, how does she fly? Just watch out crossing that border too regularly you never know what may lay in wait -
Seems really strange that your having these problems Mike. I assume you don't have the same issues just flying in FSX? Are you running Air Hauler as administrator? Looking at your machine spec compared to mine it's more than capable of coping. I run two monitors, AH, REX, TrackIR, TrafficX, Orbx scenery only difference is I run Plan G on a networked PC.

Add a touch of Accu-Sim to FSX Accu-Feel enhances Microsoft FSX at it's core, adding dynamics and sound to all FSX aircraft (excluding helicopters). It does this through a clean, modular program that works with FSX at the core, and therefore, no Aircraft directories need to be altered in any way. The program is completely configurable via a simple in-game graphical user interface which allows each aircraft profile to be tailored and saved.

SAD news indeed mate - if you need a hand hauling any of your junk just give us a call - always happy to help. -

Stormin' thru the £1M barrier Sabre Air Deliveries finally burst through the £1M barrier today with a delivery of DVD's back to home base at Darrington. Despite the poor weather S4DEX managed to fight its way through the storm to allow the company to reach this key landmark in its short history. S4DEX stormin' home A commemorative shot of the £1M delivery The CEO of SAD promptly held a party at Darrington Municipal. In a statement he said "He was delighted to reach this key landmark and insisted he wouldn't sit back on his laurels and would continue to drive SAD forward." The CEO woul

Nice update Jim - business is booming it seems. I do like the vans, hopefully I'll be buying out the lease on the first one soon. Keep up the good work at JAD - the competition's increasing - watch out for the Circus guy and a new Birdman - think they're sniffing around for new bases
-
Good luck Mike - it's MAD for me too mate. Eveyone over at SAD wishes you all the best with your venture. Definitely go for career mode. As for base choice just shop around mate the base rental fees vary greatly, I'm at Darrington with only £690 ish per month but other bases are in the thousands.

In a press release today the CEO of SAD said: "I wish to clarify the position regarding allegations over pilot poaching. Neither myself or any representatives of SAD had approached the Madcow in fact it was the Madcow who'd made the approach to the SAD CEO at a recent Air Hauling Conference. He added that the Madcow had insisted she was ready to pack her trunk and say goodbye to the Circus. The CEO went on to point out a recent press release made on the SAD website where he had made it clear SAD's intent to retain a family connection. www.sad.com -
In a bid to counter recent press statements the SAD CEO announced today that: "SAD are pleased to announce a further expansion of their Express Delivery Division with the acquisition of a second 208 Cargomaster. The CEO also revealed that his daughter (who had recently returned from a skiing holiday where she'd met some Mickey Mouse Circus owner) would be joining the truly family run business. The CEO went on to announce how proud he was over his son Alex's recent promotion to Captain adding that he hoped the sibling rivalry would now stop given that both his children had now reached the sam

Nice update Graham Pleased Nobby is back at work, certainly seems like he has his work cut out now that PFC's flying high in the hauling world. Any more thoughts of empire expansion away from High River? Need to keep your eye on Madeleine other unscrupulous hauling companies in the area may want to poach her away with the lure of flying chicken crates I mean it would be genuinely SAD if she left you in the lurch :D -
Yep you are correct. Air Hauler only cares about where you are and where you are going, It isn't interested in how you get there. I actually create flight plans in Plan G on my networked PC as I find it easier. The only thing to watch is you fuel levels are suffcient for the route you take if you create your own plans. It's always worth looking for nearby jobs - the less time you are in the air with no cargo the better.
-
Some great shots in here - anyone else got one to post up?
-
They're already on the old chicken crate

This video showcases Pécs-Pogány Airport in Hungary by LHsimulations The airport features 3D volumentric grass and improved runway and taxiway textures. Not sure about compatibility with other addons although it states it is FTX compatible but NOT compatible with Flight1's GEX. Check out the LHsimulations sceneries here- http://www.lhsimulations.hu/

Yeah I took the plunge and insured it - figured it was the safest option with the son flying it - you know what youngsters can be like  It's expensive to insure if I recall

Well he made it back safe 'n' sound and more importantly he brought the Cargomaster back in one piece Can't get on for any flying myself today so I've sent him out again even though I feel this is pushing the boundaries of my luck - another anxious day ahead with fingers firmly crossed. Just hoping to generate enough cash to expand SAD with a further aircraft, probably the Cessna 310R that way I'll have a nice choice of aircraft when I get to fly in AH myself provided my son doesn't break any of them
-
Good luck with AH I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Nice work with the paint brushes
-
Great shots as always Charlie. Did you just install the new version over the top of the old or did you have to uninstall the original?

Very good mate and here's me thinking you were on the move - I thought there was something fishy but then again you can't have too much shrimp   Keep us posted mate - what with JAD, SAD and now PFC there's some hauling getting done Happy flying -
Well here I am the worried Father here sitting waiting to see if the son brings back my pride and joy - no not a dad waiting to see if the son brings back the car in one piece. But a virtual pilot waiting to see if the Air Hauler AI Pilot (named after my son ) brings the Cargomaster back undamaged. I decided the Cargomaster was too expensive to have sitting around during the day so I gave the 182 a well earned rest and sent out the big brother on a longer haul. Seemed like a good idea at the time now I'm not so sure - it's going to be a long anxious wait
