Orbx's 1WA6 Fall City to get "VehicleFlow"
PanzerFodder replied to mutley's topic in News and Press Releases
No mate! you have got me all wrong, I like to call it software development . If Orbx could release a Blood"n"Gore flow, I think it would enhance all the other flow packs that they have done already!, an example of this could be a VehicleFlow ambulance arriving with a little PeopleFlow medic jumping out to collect all the body parts and throw them into the back . If you wanted to take it further, a little VehicleFlow police car could also arrive to arrest the pilot, and maybe give him a good beating at the same time Cheer's...Graham.... One lump or two??? http://www.youtube.com/watch -
The Justflight photo scenery is good value if you want to try one to see if you like it (volume 3 looks the best IMO, and it works with the UK2000 stuff as well ). Cheer's...Graham...

Orbx's 1WA6 Fall City to get "VehicleFlow"
PanzerFodder replied to mutley's topic in News and Press Releases
I'm waiting to see if they bring out a Blood"n"Gore Flow? because that animated guy at CEN4 High River, walked straight onto the prop on my P47 the other night Cheer's...Graham... OK! so I did have to park right in the area he was walking around in, but sure enough he did it -

Very nice as always, Charlie BTW: Glad that I could help Cheer's...Graham...

Also I just read that Orbx will not be doing any upgrades to the airports in the UK, so really it looks like they are not giving us anything that we don't already have with the GEX/UTX combo and that covers all of Europe for a fraction of the cost, although reading a lot of the posts at the Orbx site, I do now think that the new orbx items will sell very well to simmers who live outside the UK as they won't really know what they are looking at . I do agree that the photo scenery looks a bit flat, but I am just wondering how Orbx will cope with huge built up areas like in the midlands??? ATM I have some of their scenery and it works and looks great for all those Bush flying areas, but I have noticed a big drop in my FPS when I fly over some of the citys in the PNW, and NRM, and just wonder how they are going to give you a nice steady frame rate if your flying around Birmingham? because as I see it you need to crank up the Autogen to get the best out of FTX-Orbx products. Sorry to put a dim on this venture, but untill a super computer

Canada Remembers. Canada is doing a renaming program with the many lakes and other geographical features in Canada named after fallen service men/women. http://maps.google.c...=h&source=embed (you need to click on the red crosses on the map, also zoom the map out to see the full effect covering most Provinces of Canada) Cheer's...Graham...

Going to attempt a repaint dashboard to make it wood :)
PanzerFodder replied to UKJim's topic in Re-painters Workshop
Hi Jim. Do a search for "pommel sapele" or "Bubinga" or if you want a dark woor with a stripe effect look for some of the South American Rosewoods. A really dark red one would be "Cocobolo" sometimes this one is so dark it looks almost black though . Cheer's...Graham... -
Indeed it is! I'm not sure if I would want to be a passenger in any Air Ambulance that Dai is flying though! Cheer's...Graham...

Nice video Dai . Did you try that Bo105 flight dynamics link that I gave you? you should be able to fly just like that if you use it , I have it on my desktop by have no idea where you have to copy/paste the text too . (the file is a little lacking in instructions to say the least ) Cheer's...Graham...

Nice setup there Jim. have enabled the GEX autogen tree fix tile's ?. Cheer's...Graham...

Here's the other Egg Beater that I picked up at the "Nemeth Designs" sale at simware . It's a Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm Bo105, or "MBB BO-105" for short. (Messerschmitt-Bolkow-Blohm, is now part of the Eurocopter Group) Dai gave me a bit of help to get this one into the air, so thanks for that m8y (still don't know what the hell I'm doing in it though, but it's been a lot of fun anyway ). All shots were made over the Orbx "PNW" scenery, clouds are provided by REX, and the repaint is one that I found at the Hovercontrol website. Cheer's...Graham...

All good Little Egg Beaters Go To Heaven
PanzerFodder replied to PanzerFodder's topic in Screenshots
PFJ is on my shopping list for scenery, althought I do have UTX Canada and GEX NA for that area so have not rushed to get it just yet, the trouble is Orbx is bringing oust stuff so fast it's hard for the wallet to keep up with them ATM . Cheer's...Graham... -
Hi Jim. Remember that REX is only Textures that replace the default ones in FSX (so eye candy really) to get them to work you have to install them into FSX once you have made your theme choices. Once they have installed (can take a bit of time) whatever weather type you pick should always use you REX textures (clouds and sky) as they have replaced the default ones, so if you pick a nice clear summers day your not going to see much apart from whatever sky texture you picked, on the other hand if you pick Thunder storms and crank the cloud coverage slider up to the Max, it's going to look pret

All good Little Egg Beaters Go To Heaven

Ah! that was the first scenery package that I got from Orbx, after an afternoon flying over it, I went back and got Central Rockys and "PNW" so now I have a biggish area of nice 3D scenery to mess about in, one of the most nice features in all those packs is the upgraded airports in some places, it's so much better than arriving at an airfield with only a wind sock to greet you . Thanks for the comments Guys. This is the FTX-Orbx Northern Rocky Mountain scenery that I got about a month ago, have not added anything else to the package it looks like this straight from the box with my autogen set at very high, I'm loving every minute of it so far . Cheer's...Graham... -
Thanks for the Comments Guys, it is a lovely old plane, and like Alan says its sad they they are nearly all gone now, but thats what they call progress I guess . Cheer's...Graham...

Got my first (and second ) Helicoptors today at the simware sale. Here is the first one, the Nemeth Designs Eurocopter EC120B, seen here flying away from my new home base at Pincher Creek. Alberta, Canada. If ever there was a Heaven for Egg Beaters, then this place must be it That little house down there must be the local" Pitza Hut" shot flying up to the Alberta Rockys The EC120B is a port over from FS9 and the cockpit looks a bit muh! from the inside TBH , but "OMG" look at the view out of the front of this thing Won't be showing any pics of my other chopper for a while a

That's funny Brian, because my wife has just started calling it a "NOT THAT MONEY PIT AGAIN!!!" BTW: Nice shot's, I have some of the UTX/GEX products I find them very good, and they do cover most of Europe in one shot so thats a bit of a wallet saver there for a start . Cheer's...Graham...
