  3. Here's a few shots of a flight I just did on Vancouver island with my new A2A Piper cub. Scenery is the default FSX with GEX North America and UTX Canada. Real world weather provided by the REX weather engine. The flight plan taken from the onboard map in the Piper Cub A slow climb away from Duncan airfield (and it was a very slow climb in the piper cub, as well "LOL" ) first bit of really nice scenery was when I hit Cowichan lake. another shot of Cowichan lake, this time looking down the lake from Caycuse. Just as i got into the mountains the weather started to turn nasty and
  4. Nice shots Charlie, looks like you have a great day out BTW: I use to have the skin for Friday the 13th, when I was playing IL2 Here's a little snippet from the net: "Only Two examples of the Handlypage Halifax exist today - the unrestored W1048 at the RAF Museum at Hendon, and the Yorkshire Air Museums pristine LV907 Friday the 13th, a rebuild from the remains of HR792. one of Bomber Commands oft-forgotten workhorses" Cheer's...Graham...
  5. Without wanting to throw a spanner in the works . I did not see the Chipmunk on the list, but it looks like more of these were built in the UK than were made in Canada! Cheers...Graham...
  6. Hey Pacinka, Congratulations on winning this months comp , looks like investing in that new system is starting to pay off Cheer's...Graham...
  7. Very nice video, just watched it full screen at 1080p and the detail was very good indeed Cheer's...Graham...
  8. Very nice m8y But we really want to see the shots where you have all four engines on fire! Cheer's...Graham... PS: Who is Ronnie?
  9. Thank's very much for the info Soya . Also want to ask you, whats the best way to get rid of jagged edge's, I have a number of screen shot's that have been spoiled due to the markings on the aircraft having jagged edges on them? Thanks again...Graham...
  10. Some outstanding shot's Soya. This is the type of quality that I dream about, it would be very interesting to find out what video settings you are useing to make them? Cheer's...Graham...
  11. Very nice and well done Sam The VC in that thing looks almost as good as a A2A cockpit Cheers...Graham...
  12. Thank's for that Alan. Don't need to google it mate, my wife is Russian and even she like's to take the mickey out of these cars whenever possible , I believe that her father even used to sometimes drive a Moskavitch! (the rest of the time he was pushing it ). Cheer's...Graham...
  13. Hi Guy's. After last nights multiplayer flight around Colorado and Arizona with Sabre and Riyker, I decided to have a good look at some freeware scenery that I got a few months back from the Ozx site http://aussiex.org/f...-holgermesh-v2/ it also come's with KGCN airport thats complete with hangers and aircraft, it's a very nice package considering it a freebie  The Thunderbolt repaint is by jankees Cheer's...Graham...
  14. sorry Alan, Wish that I had said Lada now BTW: You made a nice job fixing that old banger up Cheer's...Graham...
  15. Reminds me of a Skoda, but with wings! :th_smiles73: Cheer's...Graham....
  16. Very nice Sam . You should post up your Rex settings when you make a post as I really like your sky/cloud patterns Cheer's...Graham...
  17. Thanks buddy Must say that I am enjoying this plane more than I thought, I'm getting very good fps from it as well , I'm now considering getting the two seater A7 volume 3 to go with it (should have got that volume instead of the Prowler, as I don't really like this plane much ATM. but who knows! it may grow on me some day ). EDIT: Went back and got Volume 3, Cheer's...Graham...
  18. Anything by the A2A crew would be OK with me, Alan! BTW: Nice video Sam, it looked like a very nice day down in Brazil, I use that airport a lot as well, I have found the if you head inland (West from the airport) you come to some very nice default mountains that look great with REX running over the top . Cheer's...Graham...
  19. I voted for FSX. Main reason is because it gives you an option to share a plane with you mate if you want to, (I jumped in to sabre's hurricane the other night to see if it would work) I would think that this would be great fun if you are flying a two seater of bigger aircraft as one person can play co-pilot (you both need the same plane installed in your hanger to get it to work though!). Down side of doing FSX is that you really need to have a server running it as trying to host a game from your own PC is a bit of a pain at times, although it's great if you can make the connection. Cheer'
  20. Join the club mate , my wife resigned me to that one years ago . (it's a good way to get out of painting the house though ) Cheer's...Graham...
  21. Very nice mate, it proved too tempting for me as well  Wait till you see mine And here it is. BTW, good job with posting your screens shot's so fast m8y , it gave me a good image of the plane for me to compare too while I was playing around with my graphics settings! think that I have now cured those jagged edges that I was getting all the time, and my ground scenery has come back into focus as well  . Cheer's...Graham... PS: Should be fun trying to join up and fly in formation in these things at the weekend
  22. Hey sam, Sabre. it was fun last night , we will have to do this again next weekend . This shot show's Sabre kissing the ground at his beloved Newcastle airport (I'm the one at the back in the P47 ) Same shot but a different angle to the one Sam made, his shot show's me in a cessna, he really shoud get the P47 in his hanger! so he can see what I really look like . Some of these AI pilots are ruddy maniacs :o Thanks for looking, it was fun doing this multiplayer, maybe next time we should have a flight plan to follow?. (Will get Sabre on that as soon as I see him again ). Cheer's
  23. Look's very good, Well done mate I just got a A2A P47 Where can I download it from ?. Cheer's...Graham...
  24. You should have landed on it's deck, NOW! that would have been one hell of a shot . how are you finding the multiplayer? seem's to be a bit hit and miss when Sabre and I are trying to get a game going . Cheer's...Graham...
  25. Well now that Sabre has got his own A2A P47, I guess I should show him these training videos from 1943. They say you can fly A2A planes by the book, so here it is! straight from the horses mouth . Pilot Familiarization Ground handling, take off, flight and landing High Altitude Flight and Aerobatics Cheer's...Graham....
