Think that you were already at work by the time i started this one m8y , it was a nice flight but would have been better if I had my wingman with me . Had tons of fuel left when I reached the rockys, I decided to dump the wing tanks with about 20% left in them in the end because they do cause a lot of drag on the aircraft and I wanted to do a bit of zooming up and down the valleys and ravines  . (BTW: I found that you need to keep swapping the wing tanks from left to right or one side of the plane gets heavier than the other, but then again! that may have just been the wind or bad t

A few screen shots for you to look at, and also as a bit of a thank you to "Jankees" for the link to the repaint, I was going to try to paint this P47 myself, so that saved me one hell of a lot of time and it's a better repaint than I could ever do anyway Here's the Flight Plane (Orcas to Bowerman) bit of a strange way to do it, but I wanted to see how far I could go with two 75 gallon wing tanks, before I had to switch to the main. "Huckle De Buck" (a repaint by Jankees) stands alone at Orcas in the early morning sunlight. First few shot's are over FTX "PNW" with a few taken over FTX

Nice movie Joe, Nice bit of scenery as well (but don't tell Sabre or else he'll want me to buy that as well ) Just want to ask what are you useing to get all the different camera views? always liked the ones where the camera is fixed on the running and the plane zooms overhead, but don't know what I need to do it ? CH-Pro Throttle (your views about this product please)
PanzerFodder replied to PanzerFodder's topic in Hardware
Thank for the advice Gents. I have agreed to get the throttle posted to my place, I'm going to take a chance on this but its only $25 so there not much to be lost if it turns out to be faulty, and if it is in good working order, as She said it is! it will be a very good upgrade from the throttle on my joystick that I use ATM. Thanks again...Graham... -
Hi Guy's. A used "CH Products PTU996 Pro Throttle" http://www.chproduct...o_throttle.html has just come up for sale in my area, and I was wondering if any of you have used this product?. The seller tells me it's about 8 years old and has a USB port connector , it looks to be in very good shape in the photo he sent and he tell's me that all the buttons/functions are working as they should. Please could any of you that have used this product let me know if there are any things/bugs that should watch out for when buying these older type CH-Products, because I want to use it for FSX with a Wi

Is this the one that you mean? must say that I can't see anybody being able to eject/walk away from this .

Excellent shot's Graeme, glad you got the shot's that I missed . Think that I like your pic no2 best, coz that's over 4500 HP of Pratt and Whitney R-2800 you can see warming up there m8y! Will have to take Riyker along next time to see what 7000 HP looks like . Cheer's...Graham...

The P47's were out and about again last night This time we are trying out some FTX-Orbx PNW and NRM scenery, the flight was from KHQM-Bowerman to WA68-Vantage. Not the best collection of screen shots for viewing the new scenery TBH, but it's pretty darn hard trying to keep close formation and do the camera man bit as well, you really need to stay seated in the cockpit for the whole time or else you start drifting all over the place and loose each other in the clouds. I'm hoping that Sabre will post his shot's in here as well, just incase he managed to get some of the area's that I missed

That was an Excellent video, well done Sam . Some of the landscape shots at the airport looked fantastic at 1080 full screen, I thought the take off scene looked very good as well  . Cheer's...Graham...

#1 for me, you caught the angle of the plane just right IMO . BTW: is it FS2004 or FSX ? Cheer's...Graham...

Thank's for the Comment's Guy's , I'm also very pleased that Brett enjoyed the flight so much, there are a lot of very pretty place's in Canada so next time I do a nice flight I'll post a pic of the plan and a few shot's again, so it's there if you want to try it out . Cheer's...Graham...

Good advice Gents . I got this tip from Joe (Mutley) a while back, and it's helped me out a lot with regards to making screen shot's. A thing that used to bug me a lot when making screen shots was waiting for the Red Text in the top right corner of the screen to disappear when zoomimg in and out, some times I missed the moment! and the shot I wanted had gone . To get rid of the Red Text altogether. Add the following line to the end of your [MAIN] section of the FSX.cfg file. HideInfoText=1 Cheer's...Graham...

Very nice, look's like shockwave lights as well Cheer's...Graham...

That must have been when my fuel tanks exploded as I hit the tree's  Cheer's...Graham... PS: Glad that we were able to fly multiplayer in FSX last night, it's much better than the FS Host IMO

Another flight for you to look at, and it's Vancouver Island again, but bare with me for this one, I'll move onto somwhere else next time It was Rex, Gex and Utx, and real world weather again, and I planned for a nice summer time take off at dawn in the Ant's Tiger Moth, hoping to get a few shot's worthy of this months screen shot competion . I'm sorry to say that British Columbia gets a lot of rainfall in the course of a year and today was going to be no exception . Here's the flight plan: CYAZ Tofino to CAK4 Woss Taking off from CYAZ Tofino, raining a bit but hoping it will clear up

I saw it last month and thought it was good, the pilots flying skills were brilliant Although, I did think that the dam they built was going to collapse before it ever got hit by the bomb! Cheer's...Graham...

Very nice shot's, and the cockpit details look fantastic From what I gather the early 'A" model Fw-190's were nick named "Butcher Birds" by the RAF pilot's because when these things first appeared they could run rings around the early Mk Spitfires. Cheer's...Graham...

Only plane that I have for this months comp is the Tiger Moth, so it's very likely that all three of my shots will be of this plane. The Dawn Patrol High Over Vancouver Island Morning Glory Cheer's...Graham... -
Thanks for the comments and advice on posting photo's Guys. I have been useing the photobucket "Direct link" and then useing the add image button, (must say that was the method that worked for me before, and on other sites as well, but I should add the photobucket does seem to be a bit slow and clunky these days so maybe the problem is there! I don't have any problems at all viewing other peoples shot's on this site, so I'll try copying the photobucket bottom link with IMG tags next time, just to see if that makes any difference . Thanks again...Graham... PS: @ Joe, when I look at my po
