  1. Nice Its views like this that keeps me flying FSX.
  2. Even if nothing worked in the cockpit it would be better than no cockpit view at all. Senery looks great and Peter says the planes fly well but still not interested at this point in it's present state. Maybe in the future when MS figures out what they actually have and does it up right. It all feels like it came out two years to early, before it was really ready. It would be nice to know how many folks actually stayed with it and are buying the Alaska package. Nothing against those that enjoy it as it stands now, hey fun is fun. :)JMO
  3. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah......made it, whew Good job at the controls Dai and thanks for the tour.
  4. Glad you had a nice trip Alan. Thanks for the vote of top giggle. The money is in the mail(you do take AH money, right?) Here's the next one, I'll leave it up for a week.
  5. I'm not even in the market for a large airport like that and the review had me wanting to get it.
  6. That is jaw dropping. Amazing skills to do all those manuvers so close together and the shots from under the lead plane are fantastic. I have seen them a few times over the years and was always impressed but you really get a great view from the video.

    Crop Dusting

Cool shots Joe. Like the sky color. Reminded me of an great older mission from '08 called Ohio Crop Duster Really fun mission if your into them and worth a go. Just to note, any mission can be flown using a different aircraft(and still earn reward) by simply pasting the Title=(from the aircraft.cfg) of the plane you want to use into the Sim= section of the mission FLT file. One thing that I have never seen made for FSX is the little gadget that crop dusters put in their plane to show the direction of the next flyby route over the fields they are spraying. Its like a little gps thingee wit
  10. Always nice to be back in the saddle
  11. Very interesting Joe, thanks for bring it to our attention. It was a hoot to see the real aircraft for a change and compare them to what I have seen in the sim world. The Comet is a real beauty to look at. It also was a real kick to see how folks dressed back then too. It's doesn't seem that long ago(was born around then also) but things sure have changed. Really not up on my aircraft history as I should be, it seems like this was an exciting time in the production of advanced designs and performance. That one fella that was caught filming the show looked awful surprised when noticing he was
  12. Company update for SoHigh Air Services Well Sophia, my new pilot, has gotten off to a rocky start. Cost me around 30 grand between fixing my new Beaver, late fees and cargo damage, not to mention my reputation. Had to ream her a new one and she is now on double secret probation for the time being. I have her running a load of new china today, which better come in with no damage or she might be looking for a new job. There has been plenty of jobs rolling in and the company has been bringing in alot of cash so I decided to pay off the leases on the other two Beavers. That makes three matching
  13. Ouch, I feel your pain. My new pilot, Sophia, has made some expensive mistakes in her first week but I am willing to give her a bit of leeway. That generosity only goes so far and if she busts up todays load of China she will be sitting on the bench with Jonathan. You did the right thing on cleaning house though, we are not here to lose money. Good luck with the new 'phibian, I hope there is enough water jobs to make it worthwhile.
  14. Sounds like you have been busy, good luck on your search for the ultimate air hauler. It's a good idea not to jump into anything and bide your time, good things come to he who waits.
  15. I agree that that heli is nice enough to be put up on a pedestal but were is the ladder to get down?
  16. Has a sweet looking panel and comfy looking too. Enjoy the flight.
  17. Thanks mate I took a look over there before I posted and did not see it. That happens to me alot. Love the plane but it takes some getting use too. Low and slow dosen't get much slower than this. Not a great valley flyer but perfect for sightseeing. This repaint will look really aces on it. Thanks to Jan Kees for the upload.
  18. Is this repaint upload anywhere(love to get it), it looks like it would make a nice design in a spin.
  19. Glad to hear that things are going so well at the SAD camp It's a regular family affair there For a change it's a good thing to be in the "Hole"
  20. Ahhh I see be your stats that you are doing well. Good for you. Better infuse some of that cash into your Beef Delivery company.
  21. I sure hope Allan has rested well during his vacation because he's going to be laughing himself to exhaustion when he sees all of these captions.
  22. Wonder how long the real one would last, if flown the way same way as you fly that poor thing in the sim
